Studio P Pilates and Fitness is a gym located at 303 Martin Luther King Drive in Bastrop, Texas, United States. Our motto is "Change happens through movement and movement heals." We believe that staying active at every stage of life is essential for promoting physical health and overall wellness. Our classes are designed to support individuals of all ages, fitness levels, and with various injuries.
Pilates is a form of exercise that combines resistance training, balance training, and the use of equipment to challenge both the body and mind. Our reformer classes offer a full body workout using spring loaded resistance exercises that you control. Through a sequence of exercises, participants can develop strength, flexibility, posture, balance, and stamina.
At Studio P, we offer boutique-style instruction through private sessions and small group reformer classes. Private sessions are tailored to individual needs and goals, while group classes are designed with participants in mind, offering modifications and variations to meet different skill levels.
Whether you are looking to improve your basics or take on a more challenging workout, we welcome participants of all levels to join our classes. Beginners and those rehabbing from injuries are encouraged to start with Private/Semi-Private Sessions and Principles Group Classes before moving on to other group class offerings. "I can't say enough good things about this wonderful studio! First of all, the space is beautiful. Great natural light and a view of green grass and trees. Everything is super clean and organized. Most importantly, Erin the instructor is world class! I know that some folks are intimidated by Pilates, but Erin makes each class such a great combination of challenge and fun. Her knowledge of the vast array of exercises keeps the classes from being too repetitive and adds new degrees of difficulty each time. I'm hooked! If you have ever been curious about trying this excellent form of exercise out, Studio P is a great place to start."
"I highly recommend Studio P Pilates. I am not someone who would normally take a mat Pilates or yoga class. I like traditional strength training typically. However, Pilates on a reformer is the best of both worlds of getting an amazing stretch workout with resistance built in, which makes you stronger and more limber at the same time and Erin at Studio P Pilates is the most amazing instructor. She is so knowledgeable. I have taken several classes and she changes it up every time. She makes the workout new and interesting and my body feels amazing afterwards. If you haven’t tried a class yet, what are you waiting for? Go now, you won’t regret it!"
"I just had my third class with Erin at Studio P Pilates. Wow...what an amazing workout each of those classes has been. These workouts have found muscles that I didn't know existed. Erin is a fantastic instructor. She helps me adjust positions to accommodate some knee issues and she helps my workout buddy with back issues. She is VERY knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. My goal is to become a stronger grandmother in order to keep up with my grandkids and this class will definitely help me get there.
