Glenbrook Apartments

"I lived here for a few years and never had an problems - in fact I loved it. I loved the area, the staff, the units. However, once I moved out the tune changed. I never received my statement of charges (property swears up and down they emailed it to me, though it's only posted to the portal after I had moved out), nor my deposit check. After attempting to contact the property manager for two weeks with two phone calls and them being unreturned, it had passed the 30 day window to receive that statement via email or mail. When I went in to discuss options with the property manager I was told twice by her that it was a waste of her time, and that the conversation was laughable to her. Long story short, don't expect to be heard out or to receive compassion when you bring forward concerns here because you'll be met immediately with hostility and anger from the property manager (receptionists are great!) I had never been treated this way, or even talked to in this manner, in my time living here until this incident."

"My fiancé and I have lived here for a few months now. We truly do love it! The apartment is so spacious with a good price. The employees in the office are extremely sweet and quick to respond to any questions. We’ve only had one maintenance issue and they were so quick and easy to work with! Appliances are a bit outdated and the paint job on the walls aren’t the best but those are just minor things! The balcony is a little worrisome but we’ve been out on it and haven’t had any major issues. We have had so many compliments on our space and have had many friends who are jealous we snagged this apartment for such a good price! This is our first apartment and the search was stressful, but I’m happy with the outcome! My major complaint… the laundry is a BURDEN. There’s only one washer and dryer per the 12 units.. We live on the 3rd floor so we are constantly having to go up and down to check if the washer/dryer is free and there are times where we go down multiple times a day and can never do our laundry. It’s also a little pricey for just one load. This apartment would be a 10/10 if there was an in unit washer and dryer OR at least more than one! We will sadly start going to a laundry mat which is not ideal but seems to be the most time and cost efficient thing for us to do."

"Glenbrook was by far the best apartment I’ve rented from. I lived here for two years and had a great experience. Neighbors were quiet and maintenance was very fast! The ladies in the office were always so kind to me. Any problems I had They were addressed quickly and resolved."

"My wife and two kids lived here for over a year and enjoyed ourselves. The office staff was always professional and more than willing to help with any need that arose and the maintenance team was exceptional as well. Whenever a maintenance issue came up it was addressed promptly. We had 2-3 somewhat serious issues comes up with the plumbing and furnace. When these issues arose someone was sent immediately. One gentleman even came late at night! My wife and I have three little ones and felt completely safe in the complex and it was a huge privilege that the elementary school is right next door so when school was out we would take the kids to play there. Lastly, the rent was very affordable and our two bedroom was spacious and clean. All of our neighbors were respectful and never a problem in any way and the staff keep the premises clean and maintained well. The only reason we moved was that my wife gave birth to our daughter and having 4 people in a two-bedroom apartment became a little too packed for our liking. My family moved to Peoria from Southern California so we found this apartment online and signed my lease online without physically seeing the complex. The office staff went above and beyond in helping us secure our apartment so we could have a smooth move."

"Love living in the Glenbrook community for many years. The apartments are roomy and quite comfortable. The office staff are very friendly and make it a point to say hello. Maintenance staff take care of issues quickly and efficiently. The grounds are kept up regularly. I feel extremely safe at Glenbrook and highly recommend living here."
