She’s the first doctor to strike up a conversation and make my daughter comfortable and talk to her before checking her out. "Dr. Duong neglected to check our infant daughter (who had incredible difficulty breastfeeding, which we brought up to her at every visit) for lip or tongue ties. She insisted without asking any in depth questions that my supply was deficient, and went on about how she breastfed twins with no problem. This was incredibly unhelpful, and we later discovered (on our own) that our daughter's upper lip requires a surgical frenectomy (to fix the lip tie) and it has caused issues with her teeth coming in and development of speech. All of this could have easily been discovered at her initial check ups, however Dr. Duong was entirely too focused on her own success as a breastfeeding mom to assess our daughter objectively. We would not return to ARC or Dr. Duong or recommend them to other parents."

"Dr. Duong completely dismissed my concerns for my child's symptoms for 5 year. From the very first check-up at 6 days old to the last check-up (with her) at 5 years old, she blew off every single one of our concerns. My child, at six years old, is now having to undergo a surgery which could have been done at an earlier age. She was never available for my children's check-ups, this is what made me seek a different PCP, who listened to all of our concerns. However, Dr Duong pushed very aggressively for my tween to be vaccinated for the HPV vaccine since my child was 8 years old."
