"Have had my kids here for 2+ years and everyone here is amazing. Ms. Cookie and Ms. Tran are absolutely fantastic at helping kids with where they are at. Older kid who needs a bit more structure and encouragement, they are on it. Young one who burst into tears at just the thought of dancing, they have dealt with it for decades and continue do so with grace and patience."

"Ms. Marisela was the best dance teacher I’ve ever had. There is no one who is more lovingly hard on her students and she will promote so much growth in your child. As far as technique goes, she is the best place to build a foundation that fosters a love AND discipline for dance. I look back on her classes and corrections so very fondly. "Teachers only focus on the good performers students and lacks on teaching and guiding new and/or kids that needs more attention. There are 2 assistant teachers in the room but during the whole class they dont even move, correct or guide the students, they simply stay in one spot and mimic the main teacher (dont know what's the use of these assistants!). When I spoke about it, teacher only told me to trust their methods and explained that assistant teachers are there for "special" kids. Room with more than 20 kids and assistants only for "special" kids? doesn't make sense to me. Why not add more assistant teachers then? Very disappointed on how classes are conducted. I have never had one teacher go to me and talk to me regarding my daughter's improvement, what she needs to work on, plan for future. Instead I had to go there and schedule an appointment with the teacher. I sit and observe and always see them tell other parents, possibly kids that they see with more potential, and I see that as unfair."

"Our daughter loves to dance and is an extremely well mannered person. We were very disappointed with the teaching here. After a whole year, she had a made little progress. The school, never helped her to do more. I found out after, but cookie organized a performance at my daughter's school and never invited her to join. No apologies, no explanation. Overall, the instruction is terrible, they just want your money and do not care about your child. They had just one, very poorly organized revue. It was terribly disorganized and a nightmare. They do not know how to communicate with anyone. My advice, find a another school. There are lots of good ones in Sugar Land."

"Cookie Joe's Dancin school is amazing! I was there when I was 3 and had to leave because my family was moving. The staff is amazing and so kind. I am at a different dance studio now and am doing well because Cookie Joe taught me the basics very well so I could start improving and learn other hard stuff. So if you say that you wasted your time there then I wouldn't believe you because how you stand up and your attitude in class is part of the discipline in dance. I highly recommend Cookie Joe."
