"I came here with my husband to get some boots on Dec 23rd. It was super busy - more than usual anyway. We have an Academy credit account, and at checkout, my husband realizes he doesn't have the card in his wallet. I expected the cashier would need to call for a manager, and we would be holding the lineup all over technicalities. Much to our surprise, she said, "That's okay. Do you have your ID?" OMG. He gives her the ID, and the system does the rest. It's been a while since an inconvenience turned out to be nothing at all. I guess it was good luck, or maybe it's just me, but no matter where I go, I notice a lack of problem solving skills and short tempers. So, keep in good spirits Academy and Merry Christmas!"

"Says a product is available online so I purchased it and they took my money, only for them to tell me hours later they no longer have that shirt available so they were canceling my order, and my refund will take 7 days to process. They can instantly take my money claiming they have a product, but then take too long to retrieve it and sell out, but then takes a week to issue a refund. So frustrating."

"It was awesome. The attendant I ask to scan the item I wanted to purchase because it was to big to fit under the scanner scanned it then carried it to checkout while I was paying went outside & got me a basket. Would highly recommend this store."

"At 8:51am this cashier was too busy looking at her phone she never noticed i was standing at the sign that says " Wait here for next cashier"! I wonder does management approve or even notice this type of behavior?"

"Another reason why we love Academy is the customer service and experience as was the case this time. Doing some holiday shopping and we swung into their location and are glad we did. Despite the larger crowds shopping today we had almost immediate service from Martin at the gun counter. Martin was absolutely awesome and took great care of us. We had a few laughs and thanks to his attention to detail we purchased several items. He is knowledgeable and very helpful. The store itself is well organized and maintained with staff tidying up from the holiday season shoppers. Great location- great service - great selection."
