"I just received a call From this place that calls itself a Property management Group. On a holiday, this guy went out of his way to, instead of just saying no thank you, call me and completely judge me and give me a option, only option, of 3 months security and 4 months rent upfront, mind you, I had only spoke with this person got 3-4mins on the phone, no application, just interested, moment conversation to judge me and basically insult me and give me a impossible And unrealistic amount, I get that trusting people to come through with rent money. Especially if that amount can be difficult today, but just as soon it is difficult for most people right now. Because times are tough, the last thing we need. Are people in that position judging us and not even giving us a fair chance at succeeding. We are coming from or currently living in a hotel, u can't miss rent and rent doubles if not triples regular rent for an apartment, and it's been almost a year. I'm absolutely certain that we can afford a 800 apartment, monthly. I am glad this turned out this way cause I wouldn't want to rent from a place that operates the way this one does. And I most definitely wouldn't recommend this place to any one who is even looking to have a little bit of understanding because this place has none a zero tolerance for humanity and souless, Biased discriminating just downright unprofessional. I can't think of a more unprofessional, unpleasant, uncomfortable conversation with a so-called professional. Then this conversation I have with this person."

"My friend and I rented from Simon for almost 6 months. He was lazy and unprofessional. When we moved in the toilet was broken and not useable for 2 weeks before he had it fixed along with never taking out old broken furniture from the last tenet. The apartment was also extremely dirty when we received it on top of everything this man has made multiple attempts to scam us out of almost $1000. We were not made aware of how to set up the electric in our name for the first month after he kept requesting almost $1000 for on month of electricity with out a bill. We requested multiple time to see and bill and we would happily pay it but he continued to be aggressive and intimidating trying to get us to pay. Along with sending us two fake cure or quit notices to again intimidate us to pay without seeing a bill. I wouldn’t recommend not ever renting from this man all he wants to do is steal money and make as much as possible not caring who is affected by it."

"Do not rent from this place!! it is very disgusting and dirty. I am gonna put some pictures below so you guys can see some stuff. It was going okay until the heat didn’t work like it was supposed to. He doesnt solve anything or contact you until rent is due. Complete slumlord"

"The landlord is very slum and very rude. They will rent you apartment when you are in desperate need. Most or all the apartments are not in good shape at all. You have to go in and really clean the place because it’s dirty move in day. Most of the properties has roaches and mice. The landlord does not pay for garbage service he pays someone to come with a pick up truck to dump the cans and take the garbage elsewhere. When you move out they do not return security deposits they charge you with everything that was already wrong with the apartment. None of my windows had screens that fit in the windows so the screens were kept in the same closet they were in when I moved in. He charged for paint when the walls were they exact same as when I arrived. During the winter my heat would stop working so I would have to go stay with friends until they finally responded. This is the worst people to rent from in Dubuque Iowa hands down. YOU WILL BE SCAMMED BE ALERT!!!"

"DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!! They will do and say anything to get you into an apartment that looks okay on the surface but is nothing but problems. I lived there for over a year (14 months lease) and I lived with a leak in my bathroom ceiling the entire time. No one ever came to fix it, to my knowledge and every single time it would rain, water would pour in and ruin my items. My power bill was inexplicably high all year round, even when I was running hardly anything. When I was going to move in, the land lord had told me I’d be getting new floors and appliances and as soon as the lease was signed, that went out the window. The fridge had moldy food in it and the stove was filthy! There was mold problems in the back rooms that never got addressed and I GUARANTEE you that you’ll never see a cent of your security deposit back, no matter how hard you clean. I have talked to 3 previous tenants and they all said they never saw a cent back and the landlord made up excuse after excuse. Don’t be fooled by the cheap price. This guy is a con artist and his apartments are hell holes."
