Radford Place Apartments 1694 Radford Road, Dubuque, IA 52002

"I wish there was an option to give -1 star. No signing leases electronically here. I was told we would need to sign the lease in person in the leasing office, and that the lease would not be sent via email. We were 3 hours drive away, so I asked if I would at least get a sample of a generic lease so I could read through the details before signing. They said no and insisted we read and sign the lease in the leasing office on our move-in day. I was also told we would need to have utilities set up in order to get the key. On our move-in day, in the leasing office, upon seeing the lease for the first time, we realized we got the apartment address wrong when we set up an account with the utility company. On top of not emailing the lease, no one from the leasing office sent us the exact address of the apartment. Right then and there, to get the apartment key, we had to call the utility company to correct our address, so we could show the leasing office proof that the correct account had been set up. It was almost 3 pm. We were lucky the utility company was still open and was able to help correct our address. So on our hectic day of moving, after driving for 3 hours from another state, as I was reading through lease, my partner was calling the utility company, both of which could have been avoided had we seen the lease beforehand. They only give you one set of key while the lease is for two bedrooms and two tenants, so make your own copy if you need another key. Need to go to the post office to get your key to the mailbox. The lawn around the apartment buildings was full of dog waste. On my second day of moving in, while I was walking my dog, someone saw me and my dog pass by and yelled at me asking me to pick up after my dog."

"Don't bother applying if you're in your mid 20s with your head on straight. Continuously advertised availability and claimed to be full when we did a follow-up on our app. (Both of us having a clean bill of health) However they have openings when an older individual inquires."

"Units are beautiful and spacious. The garages are large also. The apartments themselves are top notch I give those ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Now the reason for the 3 star rating. The management to start. Not available (except thru email or app) they have an office that is never open, doesn't return phone calls, and when I wanted them to let the cable guy into the unit so he could have access and not set off the simply safe alarm I installed I was told they will leave it unlocked for him and I should just give the cable guy the code. "I mean you can just change it when you get home, and they are bonded incase anything is stolen." Also, if you get an UPS package make sure you grab it asap. We have porch pirates. Other then that, if you don't mind the pric. It's not bad."

"Had an amazing experience while renting here! The entire process from applying to moving out was an absolute breeze. I have had any issues with the neighbors and could rarely hear them through the walls which isn’t expected in an apartment. Any type a problem came up the staff was very quick to reply and friendly throughout. I would highly recommend renting here."

"I lived in Radford Apartments for about 1 year and loved it. The buildings are all very new and well built. Very quiet inside due to thick walls. The grounds are also very nice and quiet. Any small issues we had in our time at Radford were quickly addressed. Very courteous staff as well. Garages are also an option. I only moved out to buy as house. I recommend the apartments to anyone that wants a nice, roomy apartment for a very reasonable rate."
