"Pound for pound this is the best bang for your buck in town by far! With the location and the price it wouldn’t even matter what the customer service is like but guess what !? Is the best part ! Employees were all very friendly and easy going. I didn’t want to wake my kids at 1:00 cooking a late night snack and the nice gentleman working 3rd shift welcomed me to the microwave in the dining area! Dubuque is great ! Spend your extra money other places and stay here !!"

"According to Orbitz, they were attempting to contact this motel for several days trying to get me a refund on a reservation but personnel from said motel never responded to them. F- for Super 8 and Orbitz."

"Was an okay stay. Bathrooms could use better cleaning and rooms need definite updating. If not, proper maintenance wouldn’t hurt. Carpet wasn’t properly stretched and created tripping hazards. Cracks in the wall weren’t very pleasing either. Bed was clean and super comfy however, so I got great sleep!"

"Pet friendly with the pet damage waiver.. however,this time there was a $125 charge if dog hairs were found on bed/furniture. (Animals not allowed on furniture) which was not noted on webpage. Luckily, our dog sleeps on its own bed on the floor. Also only one dog per room, if you arrived with more,the waiver stated you will be checked out with no refunds. We asked for more facial tissue at 11pm, was told to come back at 10am to talk to manager (?). Language barrier with night staff.(?) No one at desk to check out, even though when I checked in I had asked ifI could get a copy of bill in the morning with my refundable room deposit charge (paid with rewards points except pet fee) had to use a gross phone to call for assistance, that's when I was told the dog waiver was filed away and that the system was updating so I couldn't get the receipt. Location was good"
