Mugs Softball Complex, located at 498 Mann Street in Midland, Texas, is dedicated to providing a safe environment for girls' fastpitch softball. Our organization, Midland United Girls Softball (MUGS), focuses on developing a positive outlook, teamwork, and sportsmanship in young athletes.
We offer online resources for information on upcoming games, results, and a gallery of the action-packed games. Our coaches are committed to helping players of all skill levels reach their full potential and have a great time on the field.
New this fall, age divisions will be determined by the player's age on September 1st, 2023, in alignment with USA Softball regulations. We also host various tournaments throughout the year, including the Lizard Classic Tournament and the West Texas All Star Tournament.
Players born in 2004 or 2005 are required to complete Safe Sport training, provided at no cost, as mandated by the US Olympic Committee. Our dedicated board members are experienced and patient, ensuring that each player receives the support they need to thrive in the sport. "I was at the field yesterday, as we have been going all summer. There are places in the sidewalk that are very uneven and not level. I fell really hard onto my hip from the the uneven concrete and it really hurt. I am not the only one that has fallen for this reason. I feel for the safety of everyone visiting MUGS you need to mark the uneven areas or get them fixed. I would hate to see a grandparent break a hip because of unsafe waking areas. Thank you."
