"I was looking for a simple task chair for my home office/art studio. I wanted several specifications (upholstered backrest instead of mesh, removable arms, well-cushioned seat, lumbar support...) The woman working there was kind and patient, and gave me all the pros and cons of each chair. She's quite knowledgable in office furniture and seemed really excited about discussing different makes and models, including ones she'd love to come across for her own personal use. She was so into office furniture, one might mistakenly think that she was talking about cars! I discussed what I needed, and she allowed me to test drive different chairs and decide what works best. I ended up buying a used chair for nearly a 10th of the original price (I looked up new prices online). Once I took it home, I realized that it has many more features than I initially noticed.
