"This place is insane with the hidden fees. Nights were listed as $98 on priceline then checked out for a total of $281 after taxes and all fees… I THOUGHT. But then I get to the hotel and they add another $154 in fees. Insane it went from being advertised at $98 per night to having to pay $435 total. I can tell this is a common thing now after reading these reviews. I honestly had no interest of using that dumb discount package for things to do in Chicago that they throw into the fees. Definitely do not recommend. This is a straight up scam. They make it so you cant even get a refund if you don't want to pay the fees. Worst experience at a hotel I’ve ever had."

"The staff was exceptional, Raymond helped me with all of my needs and stirred up some great conversation! I stayed here for about a week and a half with my pregnant wife and everyone was super hospitable and friendly. The coffee is super easy to access and enjoy at anytime of the day. Room service was always on time and professional. Special shout out to Mike the GM, Peter, and Jermaine. Everyone on this list offered help at any moment. Definitely worth the price for the stay and if you read the fine print everyone is treated the same, which I respect and enjoy! Once again, I’m tremendously grateful for the staff and I wouldn’t have had it any other way!"

"Responding to Owners response: I'm not sure how explaining the benefits below is helpful when I NEVER RECEIVED ANY OF THE BENEFITS MENTIONED TO BE ABLE TO EVEN ENJOY THEM. Also, what about the fraudulent credit card charges? I have had to cancel my credit card just to make sure your hotel does not have my information still. My points were clear as they are in this review, we were not "repeating the same points". Your customer service is garbage as is your hotel! Original review: I would give this place zero stars if I could! DO NOT STAY HERE!! PLEASE LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS!! Avoid this place!!! From the start of my stay on my very first tip to Chicago this hotel left a sour taste. The rooms are basic. The bar was closed the entire time I was there. The customer service was almost nonexistent. The manager was unprofessional and was ill dressed. I had to dispute charges on my credit card because they overcharged me for the resort fee and there WERE NO AMENITIES!!! It's just a tactic to get more money from you to keep you in business. The sign said the amenities included a certain list of things for $50 per night (see photo) and my credit card was ran for $177. I stayed here in June 2023 for two nights... somehow I am now disputing charges they charged me a couple days ago in December 2023. I called to talk to them about it and as expected they hung up on me sever times now I have to get a new credit card. I LAST STAYED THERE IN JUNE!!! I wish I had NEVER EVER STAYED HERE! AVOID THIS PLACE!! They are credit card frauds!!!"

"I wasn't sure about the name at first, however, I decided to check them out instead of some of the other common hotel names. I booked online and needed to make some changes. I was pleasantly surprised when I received a text message from the hotel that I could reply to. The person whom I was texting with was fantastic and extremely helpful! Everything I needed was taken care of! When we arrived, we were able to check in early which was extremely helpful since we would be occupied the entire day so being able to put out stuff in the room right away was great! Our room was a King Suite which was very clean, comfortable and had very nice furniture with a great bathroom. The suite was very spacious too. Very pleased indeed! Lastly, the gentlemen at the front desk was excellent and very accommodating with our needs. Great place to stay! Highly recommend!"

"I enjoyed my stay. Good location, nice decor, comfortable and clean room. You may be surprised by the ~$50 amenity fee if you don’t pay attention to the online booking details. The hotel provides a detailed amenity brochure. You may find them useful, you may not, depends on the nature of your Chicago visit. I have revised my review to be more positive after I was confused about some fees and the hotel reached out to clarify my understanding."
