Crowne Plaza Chicago West Loop, an IHG Hotel

"Room was great and the front desk staff was awesome. Good location near some of the bars/restaurants on Randolph and Washington, and walkable (even in the cold) to the trains at Ogilvie, Morgan and UIC-Halsted. Would stay here again next time I'm in Chicago."

"Stayed here for work, and I was NOT disappointed! The rooms are fabulous; from the vestibule to the hallways to the rooms! Architect mod style furniture outfits the lobby for a variety of seating choices as guests unload. Fully loaded recreation room for a thorough workout, if that’s your thing. Subway tile styled bathroom that pays homage to the city of Chicago! And a very stylized restaurant called The Rye with delicious food, and an atmosphere and vibe that keeps you sitting in tranquility! I had the immense pleasure of being greeted and taken care of by a gentleman named, Vernell, who was the front desk manager for the hotel. Vernell (I hope that I am spelling his name correctly) was observed greeting everyone with equal parts of respect and sufficiently; always referring to them by their name with a very welcoming tone. In Rye, Ms. Roxanne was wonderful! Ms. Roxanne is able to describe every dish on the menu with passion; which I believe traveling guests appreciate. Below is a photo of a dish that was suggested by Ms. Roxanne, the Roasted Cauliflower! Th Crowne Plaza West Loop is luxury on a budget; on business; on a personal getaway!!!!"

"West Loop hotel offers a prime location and friendly staff, but issues like a dated bathroom and malfunctioning front door were noted. Despite a good night's rest, updates are recommended. The convenient location near restaurants and attractions is a plus, but non-complimentary breakfast was drawbacks, impacting the overall recommendation."

"Great location right off of the expressway in the West Loop. Staff was very friendly. That's where the pleasantries end. The room had ZERO soundproofing. Loud traffic and speeders could be heard LOUD and CLEAR all night long. Bathroom was in need of renovation and visibly worn out. Thermostat was malfunctioning and blasted bright blue light directly at the bed all night. Do not recommend this property without significant updates to soundproofing and renovation of the rooms."

"Stayed here for a couple days for a work event, the rooms were a bit outdated and the water pressure from the shower was a little weak. I must say the bed was very comfortable and the views from the higher floors were amazing. Customer service was excellent, there was easy access to Walgreens and restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future."
