"We been staying at the hotel for a couple of years now always been a decent hotel .. Bathroom wasn't as clean as they could have been last trip ."
"Pretty disappointed at the lengths hotels will go to to pinch pennies. Hotel is nice on the exterior, in a decent area, and the rooms are even nicely maintained. Service was friendly and helpful. However this hotel, like others in the Choice Hotels chain, chose to turn the refrigerators all the way down and tear the knob off so you can't adjust it when you come into the room. Gotta love having drinks at barely lower than room temperature and not feeling safe keeping food in it overnight. The heat and air unit has pretty clearly been rendered ineffective. It's cold and snowy outside and I like to come back to a pretty toasty room, being a southern fellow. It's currently set at 78 which I know I would be uncomfortable in. The thermostat suggests it's 78 in here but I'd give it 70 at best? Woke up with a sore throat so Choice could save $0.50 on the electric bill. A coworker staying here said he tried heating a cup of coffee in the microwave (because the coffee served in the lobby was lukewarm) and said he couldn't get it much warmer in the microwave after a couple minutes of nuking it. Said he had the same experience trying to heat a microwave dinner from the commissary last night and it resulted in a cold dinner. What amount of discomfort to a guest is allowable so that the hotel can save a buck or two on the $100+/night bill we pay? I'm a platinum member with Choice and about over it. Can anyone say IHG?"
"I would recommend this place. I had an illness in the family and traveled here 3 times from Denver over a few weeks. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed our stay each time. I would recommend Comfort Inn."
"I don't think any hotel has treated people so rude in my life. So I was recently homeless sleeping in my car and I had found a safe spot to park my car and sleep. One morning I went to use the restroom and I hear a voice say "sir sir you've been in our parking lot for days you need to leave" very very rudly. Then as I am listening and leaving she comes out to sarcastically wave at me as I leave. Later I called back and asked for her name and she said Jame. I realized she was the manager of the place. I understand I was wrong for staying there in my car but this just isn't how you treat people. I will never stay at a comfort."
"We enjoyed our night here. Rooms were clean and didn’t smell. The bed was super comfortable. AC worked good and we slept really well. The shower was hot. No bugs of any sort. That’s all I need from a place to rest on a road trip. Breakfast was hot with plenty of selections. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, toast, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice… The front desk person was professional and friendly. If you’re used to new, 3 or 4 star hotels, you’ll probably find things to nit pick at and complain about when you leave your review. For being listed as a two star hotel, it’s very nice and earns every 5 star review it gets."
