Inn at Old Nauvoo

"Close to historical Nauvoo. Lots of clean rooms. Nice pool (but we didn't swim) very friendly staff. Great location."

"Staff did an excellent job accommodating our 150+ tour group. The hotel itself was like a maze but rooms were clean and I loved the fact they started putting televisions in them. Sadly there's no longer a restaurant inside the hotel. There's no restaurants anywhere near the Inn unless you eat from another hotel near by that offers it. There's a Casey's a block or 2 down the road and that's pretty much it for food choices."

"We stopped by a friend's hotel room on a trip we did together, but I did not stay here and can't comment on service. The entry had a long/ narrow kitchen area with sink, small stove, small fridge... crowded but quite adequate for a family trip. From there, we went into a small living room. They had 2 comfy chairs then a table with benches pushed up against the wall for sake of space. I didn't see much of the bedroom area, but there was a divider between the parents bed and a teens bed. The hotel is definitely older... there was a slight smell of mold. But it was clean and no signs of bugs, etc. They booked the suite for $130/ night. We had an airbnb out in Carthage for $150/ night. We had lots more space to be sure, but also more driving. Looking back, I might have opted for their cramped quarters so we wouldn't have to drive so much! This hotel was so much closer to all the Nauvoo attractions!"

"Very cheerful and friendly staff, even let us check in early and leave late. (This may not be possible in the summer high season) . The shampoos, etc. come in generous pumps, not tiny containers. There was even a shower chair in the tub which we didn't need but others might find helpful. The toilet was high which is also good for older folks...just sayin'... the whole place is handicap-accessible. It is located right downtown so everything is close, including the Nauvoo Temple. There is a heated , covered pool but we saw no spa. One odd thing...no in room phones? Shop at the lobby store for town memorabilia. The price is the same as other stores in town. Comfy beds and large rooms with open plenty of pillows. A great place to stay!"

"This place knows exactly what their clients are looking for. They supplied ice for us to restock our coolers. The suite had a stocked kitchen so we could prepare meals. Close to the historic district. Only suite on our trip that had two bathrooms - very helpful. We would stay here again"
