Motel 6 Alsip 5150 West 127th Street, Alsip, IL 60803

"My husband and I stayed here 3 times. The last time we stayed we heard loud bangs on our windows and doors. We heard some guys yelling outside our door, seems like we were being threatened and even heard one of the guys drop some sort of weapon maybe. We eventually Called the front desk but the receptionist said she was going to look outside from the front door that’s about it, which was understandable. We had to call the cops because it felt unsafe! We assumed they were drunk or drugged out teenagers. Nonetheless, We asked to be moved to a different room and they were happy to accommodate us. All in all, I’m not sure I’ll be staying here for a while until the security situation improves. We come to relax for the night, not to be scared away. Another issue I have is our room key ALWAYS locks us out of our room around 9/10AM so you need to go to the lobby to reactivate it."

"They have good coffee in the morning. Small but clean and comfortable rooms. The front ladies were everything but rude. Cheap and Great for a family of 4!"

"Pretty sure they are in the process of updating rooms. The first room they put me in had no lighting. The corridor was very dark where my second room was located. All in all, the value can't be beat and the customer rep was very friendly and efficient but upon request of receipt, I was told they would email it, which they did not. I received no receipt for my payment."

"I stayed at the Motel6 in Alsip Illinois on 127th St from 6/27/23 - 6/29/23. It was one of the worst hotels I had ever stayed in. The bathtub was dirty and had strands of long black hair in it and it was rusted. The toilet was rusted and barely flushed correctly. Neither the bathtub or the sink had stoppers in them. The bathroom door did not shut completely. The TV only had 5 channels and 1 channel was unviewable. There weren't enough towels and when I went to the front desk to ask for more towels, a woman brings wrinkled and unfolded towels full of long black hair to my room door. The countertops and the floor basically hadn't been swept because I found lots and lots of long black hair around the room. The lock on the room door did not lock securely. There was noise all day and all night. There was trash all around the building outside. I voiced these issues with the people at the front desk and they did absolutely nothing. They didn't even offer me anything for compensation. Now I would like a full refund for my HORRIBLE stay at Motel6. I would not and will not recommend this chain of motels to anyone."

"The toilet would not flush completely. The front desk people were not helpful or even willing to try and resolve the problem Since I was not able to find another room at another motel, I was forced to stay in the room without being able to flush the toilet. Also, there needs to be a chair in the room for people to sit in to tie their shoes. I had to sit on the platform bed and bend down and felt like I was going to fall over. I WILL NEVER STAY IN THIS MOTEL AGAIN AND WARN ANY OTHER POTENTIAL GUESTS TO STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS POSSIBLE!"
