Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Ottawa Starved Rock Area

"Comfortable beds, spacious clean rooms, and the location was right off of 80, easy to get to. The only downfall that was very frustrating was the pool and hot tubs weren't working. I was there for work training and really looked forward to the hot tub to relax my muscles. Staff told me they were getting it repaired."

"Hot tub was fixed for the evening and it was running hot & wonderful. By the morning, water was too low, cold jets were blowing ice and it had lost all its heat. The smell of natural gas was strong in the pool area. Gena at the front desk was exceptional as was any interaction we had with the front desk crew. There are no tissues for sneezing anywhere. Breakfast was served and it was ALWAYS clean, full and friendly. The shower head needs to be replaced. The water is HARD (limestone & minerals) and smells metallic. Finally, this was a room specifically for people with disabilities. Please! It would be impossible for anyone in a wheelchair to enter the room due to the high tension setting on the door. This needs to be addressed. Call a representative from the disabilities community and ask for help. This could be a fire danger."

"Located right off I 80 in Ottawa Illinois. This hotel exceeded my expectations. The service was amazing. Beth and Lucy at the front desk were most accommodating and friendly. From the time you walk in til the time you leave, you can't help but notice the cleanliness. People always working to keep this place clean. The hot breakfast was outstanding. Located right next to a Starbucks and a Culver's is a bonus. Thank you for the most excellent stay!"

"I always enjoy staying at the Fairfield Inn when I’m in Ottawa. The staff is so friendly and helpful and they make you feel at home. Luci at the front desk got us checked in quickly and with a smile. Kathy does a fantastic breakfast service and goes out of her way to do whatever she can to help you feel comfortable and welcomed. I would recommend staying there and will definitely stay there again!"

"This hotel was very clean, quiet, and right on the edge of Ottawa by the I-80 offramp. My family and my dog would definitely stay here again. Major props to the woman ( I wish I asked her name ) that was the host of breakfast. We came in very late for the complementary breakfast. She wanted to make sure that we had all that we needed, and was extremely friendly and very sweet. We will be back again if needed. Considering we have many friends in Ottawa, we will be able to stay there again, along with our dog. Our dog seemed to like it as well!"
