"It shouldn't have been an issue, but I brought my stuff in out of my car to a friend's room for about 3 hours, consolidated it into bags so it was easier for me to put back and the office charged them $20 for that."

"I recently stayed at the surrey motel in Ottawa il for the first three nights of my move to Ottawa with my family, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The room we stayed in was clean, spacious and comfortable, providing us with a much-needed respite after a long journey. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, always going above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. This made it very convenient for me to get a sense of the area and explore it further. Additionally, there were plenty of amenities and services nearby, including restaurants and shops, which made settling into the new neighbourhood much easier. Overall, I would highly recommend the surrey motel Ottawa il to anyone in a similar situation. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
"I travel alot for work and work nights six days a week during the spring and autumn months.So what I look for in a hotel is place that is cheaper than most(paying out of my own pocket),whereas gasoline has become so expensive, and its a cost I cannot control,I look to save where I can.The Surrey Hotel does not look like much on the outside, but on the inside,though the rooms are outdated by todays standards, they are clean and comfortable. It is quiet also,and it has to be when you're sleeping days.This hotel is owned and maintained by a local couple and therefore they treat it with reverence as well as their customers, they even remember your name.I want to emphasize that this place is clean and comfortable and I've been to some National chains in Morris IL.that I choose not to stay in for that very reason.So why take that chance, give Surrey a shot,it sure works when you're looking at expenses."
"I stayed for 3 weeks. The rooms are all clean and bug free fyi. The rooms are older but have all new appliance. The owners are friendly and flexible and the weekly rates are the best in town. They do have a strict no visitor policy which I found to be a bonus. I would stay again or sure."
