"Five Stars are not enough—This is the best place in the entire County (and beyond I’ll bet) to take your pets for all of the care they need. They are Professional, Caring, Attentive, and so much more. I have taken a couple of cats to them for varying needs. Let me tell you, I’ve NEVER ran across ANY organization in all of Bastrop County that cares for your pets, and you, the way they do! I was in tears dealing with the loss of my cat and Cassandra and Monica just let me vent and cry and and made me feel so much better. Thank you Save An Angel, you have forever changed how I feel about Trusting someone with my fur babies. That means so much to me. I highly recommend Save An Angel."

"The vet, Dr. Rebecca Stenard, was super nice, & great with my dog Colonel. Monica was efficient & fast with the tests & vaccines. They did a great job, even trimmed his nails!"

"I got my male cat neutered here, when I arrived to pick him up i immediately noticed that my cat and his carrier reeked of pee. The entire carrier was drenched with pee and my cat was completely soaked in his own urine along with the cone provided from the vet. Broke my heart to see my pet in this condition. I will not be returning as it doesn’t seem my cat was treated with respect. Just praying his incision doesn’t get infected but if it does I will be choosing a different vet to fix the issue. Do not bring your cat here for a spay or neuter if you want them to be treated well. 0/10 recommend for any pet owner, spend the extra couple of dollars and take your pet to a reliable place."

"They got us in within a week not even!!! All staff was so friendly but Cassandra was so so helpful! She took her time answering questions and making us feel like we really could reach out any time for advice or help. She was so nice!!!! I will absolutely be coming back!! "A great organization offering much needed services in the Bastrop area. Their prices on Wellness care and spay/neuter services can’t be beat. All of the staff are very professional and friendly and love all the animals they treat. I know people that drive to this clinic from Taylor, Bastrop, Elgin, Manor, Smithville and the Austin area. It’s worth the drive for the money you will save. They also do amazing work with fostering and adopting out animals. I adopted two of my dogs from them."
