"Amazing customer service! Girlfriend made a special request for our trip and they fulfilled it. Such a wonderful surprise. Only reason I gave 4 stars for location is because of construction, which isn't their fault. Next time I'm in Bastrop, I will be staying here!"

"If I could give this hotel a ten stars I would!!! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ From the reserving the room to checking in Calvin was amazing. To help us with all those little things We forgot like the ice cream We needed to buy. The fork and the spoon we forgot our drinks we forgot. Myria was very polire and helpful. Our housekeeper was amazing, David this. What we needed was very nice maria was such a help. Breakfast was amazing, very good, very hot.It really hit the spot. My daughter always gets tickled with the waffles. And last but not least, Austin was amazing with the checkout. Help us with all our last little needs it. Even let me know that they had French vanilla Creamer so I could have coffee that's a win win for me. So overall, this hotel has been one of the best great beds. Clean room hot showers great breakfast and friendly and helpgul staff!!! We will definitely be back!!!"

"The lady who was at the desk when I checked in was friendly. Efficient and quick. the room was perfect. The bed was comfortable, the temperature was just right. The bathroom was immaculate. in the morning. The breakfast buffet was clean and ample. Outside on the way out there is a beautiful old oak tree. The gentleman at the front desk was able to help me replace my key when I disabled it with my card, fob . The other guests staying at the hotel seem to be enjoying it as wellI really loved staying here and would recommend it."

"The only reason I gave 4 stars on room is because our first trip there exceeded expectations. The room was spotless, even under and behind things. It smelled super clean/sanitized but not irritatingly strong. All staff were professional and personable. However, on our second stay a month later we were on a different floor and the room was half-way cleaned at best. Lazily more like it or by someone who doesn’t have a knack for cleaning, knowing WHAT ALL needs to be cleaned. Edges of carpet were not cleaned, dust was next to the microwave in the nook where we stored our food items the first time. Stuff like that. I did mention it to the manager/owner(?) upon checkout and she was apologetic, accommodative, and appreciative. If you understand how housekeeping works, you understand that there were more than likely different housekeepers on different floors. So I just told her whomever had 1st floor last time, I want to be on their floor every time! Kudos to that employee! We’re staying there again this year, twice like last year (dance competitions) now knowing what questions to ask as to decide which floor I would like to be on when asked. The breakfast was great!! (Except for the powered eggs for me.) But they had sausage, bacon, amazing biscuits and gravy, a pancake making machine, waffle iron, yogurts, cereals, bagels, milks and juices, and good tasting strong coffee (I’m a bit of a black coffee snob- I like it to do it’s job and to taste bold and medium roasted, not sourly bitter.) And more! That’s just all I can think of. The beds were also super comfortable and water pressure on first floor was much better than the third floor room we had."

"Very quiet hotel, didn't hear any noise during our stay! The service was incredible, and started as soon as we stepped through the door! I highly recommend this place."
