"Bought a Mardi Gras King Cake at Bastrop HEB. It had no "baby". We called HEB to let them know and it turns out that HEB hasn't had any babies for the cakes for the past week. We would not have bought our Mardi Gras King Cake there if we had known their was no baby."

"2/3/24 this is the second time I have bought lean stew meat that is not lean. This time it's not even cut up all the way. Come on bastrop heb do better. I have never had this problem at other hebs. This store is just terrible. The last three times I have been in they are out of tenderized cube steak and many times they have been out of very basic staples. Not loving this store at all. I normally love HEB, but this location not so much. It is usually very busy on any day of the week. Bastrop has grown, and other than Walmart, it's the only other grocery store. I choose to shop later at night due to my work schedule and to avoid some of the madness. The problem is they start dragging everything out to be stocked at 9:30 and block huge portions of the aisles, fridge, and frozen sections. I am very surprised someone hasn't been knocked out by the pallet pushers because they can't see over them. It really does seem like they don't care if you can't get to the items you need and that you should move out of their way. If the store closes at 11, then stocking should start at 11. "I went to get a carpet cleaner. The customer service was rude and didn’t know how to work the machine. They were quick to inform me that I would be charged if the carpet cleaner was not clean upon return but did not see that it was not cleaned when they gave it to me. I had dog hair in my car because the machine was not cleaned. So before I could use the machine I had to clean it. I did call to inform customer service but they didn’t seem to care. Now I have to have my car cleaned as well due to dog hair and I don’t own a dog. I was not happy at all."
