The Institute for Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease is a leading institution located at 6431 Fannin Street in Houston, Texas. We offer educational opportunities for medical and nursing students, physicians, and traveling researchers. Our research focuses on acute stroke treatment, as well as areas such as stroke recovery, prevention, AI technology, and mental health.

Through our Community Engagement Core, we work to build partnerships between communities, organizations, and academia to address the challenges of stroke. Our STEP Clinic provides support for patients in managing risk factors and making lifestyle changes to improve their health.
