"I'm still dealing with the betrayal. If you are a man and are in couples counseling with this clinician, expect to be the one that is at fault. Or expect to be told that you are projecting either you own issues or past issues on your wife. Expect her to give your wife every out imaginable and when it comes to your wife's behavior, expect to be told that you should "Take what you can get". Whether this clinician realizes it or not, I have the opinion that she has a sexist opinion of men, and favors women in dealing with interpersonal conflict."
