Over the past 3 years that our son, Rylan, has been at Friendship House he has been blessed. He has been blessed with the high level of care, support and love that he has been shown. Because of the compassion and security he felt, he has now developed a deep curiosity to learn and expand his horizons with so many interests. As a teacher, I know the effect that one can have on growing child. I know that teachers leave a mark on a child's heart, and you always hope and pray that it is positive, as during the work week, you are with our son more than we are. And in all of Rylan's time with you all, we can say with one hundred percent certainty that Rylan's heart and attitude have been positively impacted because of the experiences at Friendship House. Not a day went by that we didn't hear the positive mention of a teacher's name. Not a day went by that we didn't hear about a friend that he enjoyed playing with. Not a day went by that he didn't talk our ears off on the way home because of his enriched day at school. We will forever be grateful to his teachers - Miss Marcye, Miss Diane, Miss Ashley, Miss Jane, Miss Stacy, Miss Melissa, Miss Amy and Mr. Dave (sorry if I forgot anyone!), for always treating him as their own....with compassion and love. You have given him a strong foundation that we know will serve him from here on in the best way possible. If we don't see you on the way out today, know that you are all in our hearts.
