"Gromming area here is the worst that I had experienced. They are going to charge you ALWAYS a way more fees than the standard fee for a bath and shortcut. They will find your dog matted, lots of shades, every single excuse counts to charge you 25 or 30 or even more over the standard fee. Horrible, aggressive and rude attitude from Sebastian. He is calling you always 2/3 times ahead of your appointment to ask you to change your booked time in order to suits his schedule. He has an arrogant attitude when you complain about the extra charges that he added without any single consultation. I told the manager about how rude he was and he said “fine”. So nobody cares here about customer service. Pls don’t leave your dog for gromming here if you don’t want to have a bad experience."
"The last two times that I have come here, two of the groomers, Kayla and Mariah, have treated us horribly and been very racist. In November, I had come to take my dog to get her bath and haircut, she was brushed out and ready for her trim. Mariah had her that day and upon arriving to the appointment, she simply told me she would have to charge me extra because she sees my dog is matted. She had not even held my dog. We had brushed her hair out previously, and I let her know that she is not matted and we simply need a trim and bath. She kept insisting and even made me sign that if worse comes to worse she would need to shave her down because of her matts. When we came to pick her up, she was not shaved down, but Mariah still charged us extra making our expense over $100 (usually it’s $85-$90), and when we got home, our dog was shedding all the hair she had gotten trimmed. Our dog is not the breed that sheds and has NEVER shed. The second time was today the 23rd of December, I just came in and had records of her vaccination for Rabies. Her doctor listed down when she got her vaccination and the next time she would be renewing it in the certification, but both Kayla and Mariah said they could not take in my dog because they need an exact expiration date on her vaccines even though it is stated in her vaccination record that she was vaccinated for rabies on 8th of December of this year and that it is good for next the three years. Kayla and Mariah insisted that they cannot accept that and they would need the exact date that it expires because they cannot determine whether it would expire this year within her grooming time or later. Every time we have brought her in before, it was never a problem. We have had the same vet since she was with us. I had them call the Vet and they said they did not pick up and would not even leave a message with their number stating they could not confirm until a person picked up. I said if you leave a message, the receptionist will call you back immediately and let you know, but if you don’t leave your number then they won’t be able to call you back with the information. They said they will not do it and will not even serve us, they then moved on to the next customer and without any other conversation, Kayla grabbed her dog and went to the back while Mariah helped her with paperwork. They never pulled up my paperwork even when I booked a week in advance for my appointment. This is OUTRAGEOUS, and overly unprofessional of them. This to be noted here that we had been visiting this place for over a year now, and before these two ladies, the previous crew were always nice and professional. I would like to know who else had been mistreated like us. I would urge Petco management to look into this matter seriously to avoid further mistreatment of customers. We will not be coming back here again after the way they treated us."
"I have been visiting this place for a long time now. I love the self dog wash stations they have, it's probably the easiest way to wash your dog ever. Comes with lots of things to help with the process. The reason for not 5 stars is their soap and conditioner through the water sprayer sucks, it never actually works, like ever... Easily remedied, as I just bring my own of course, but would be nice if it functioned right? The staff is fairly pleasant, a troll or two around, but at least they will help if asked. Dog food prices are unfortunately not competitive, I always check and they are almost always the highest prices around for the exact same products I can buy elsewhere cheaper, which I do. I guess y'all gotta make a buck somehow, right? Absolutely an awesome selection of dog chew/treat items, top notch collection. My pup always wants to cruise the aisles and check them ALL out. Overall, most favorite pet store, even with it's flaws. My dog agrees too."
"We purchased a $92 big bag of puppy food for our German Shepard, upon opening the bag AND FEEDING it to my dog, I put the scooper in the bag and noticed there were multiple kinds of bugs crawling around. Worms, black bugs I am so disappointed. Not only because it cost a good amount but because this could potentially make my 8 month old puppy sick."
"For being a new store I’m disappointed! Went in to pick up medicine for my cat & did the normal browse through the store like normal and I was sad to see how the animals looked so uncared for, some of the hamsters and rats were walking and smearing feces through their cages and no food or water.. dead fishes in their bowls also looked like they hadn’t been fed.. super sad ☹️☹️ Not to mention the workers on shift were super rude asking for help seemed like a bother.. DO BETTER petco!"
