"Thriveworks as a practice is great. They’re very prompt with scheduling and correcting or explaining any challenges you may have. My therapist Geraldine Hickerman is phenomenal! I am so glad I was referred to this practice and paired with my therapist. It’s as if they knew just who and what I needed."
"She didn't get on the Zoom meeting because of an emergency, and her assistant did not reach out to let me know. I had to find her number online and found all this out from her while she was unfortunately driving her baby to the ER. I do understand, but also, someone should've contacted me and no one ever did. I had to reach out after doing some digging online. Also, I BETTER NOT GET CHARGED FOR THIS VISIT!!!! UPDATE: I FINALLY went through this appointment about a month later (yesterday) and she was late again to the zoom meeting. Kept talking over me, and very much pushing a generalized Anxiety and Depression diagnoses on me and more antidepressants which I CAN GET FROM MY REGULAR DOCTOR!!!!! If I wanted that, then WHY would I bother with seeing a psychiatrist and pay more for the same care?! She didn't even listen to me. She also got annoyed that I DIDN'T want meds. I am seeking an actual diagnoses to know better how to care for myself, not some run of them mill one that you can easily slap on everyone with how things are nowadays. This isn't my first rodeo with Psychiatrist either. Three of my five kids see one for their DMDD and ADHD. I Know how things present. I've done my own research. She treated me like I had no clue and brush me under the rug. Also, IF YOU DON'T WANT ME TO CALL THE NUMBER YOU HAVE ONLINE, YOU SHOULD BE PROMT TO YOUR ZOOM APPOINTMENTS.... It's ABSURD how nonchalant you were about everything with me. This isn't just depression and Anxiety. Don't piggy back off what a general practitioner gave me 10 years prior to this. You didn't even try with me. And I'm SOOOOO bitter about this now."
"My appointment with Francis went wonderfully. She helped me fix my medication dosages and set up a game plan with me to begin ongoing therapy. I'm so happy to have found this network so I can get better."
"This was one of the worst doctor's office experiences I've ever had. I was recommended to this company by my regular doctor because the psychiatrist who worked with them quit, and I was excited to finally get another chance to speak to a psychiatrist. Unfortunately, I'm 35 min into waiting in the Zoom room looking at the "host is here, we have let them know you've arrived." I tried texting the support number, calling the main support desk (multiple times, still waiting on my call back), and even the main office. I tried looking for Mariam Odu-Onikosi's email, my supposed psychiatrist, but of course couldn't find it anywhere. I'm still hoping. Maybe it was some crazy glitch and there's a justified reasoning behind this, but as a professional mental health care facility it's crucial that you realize how your poor management affects your customers. Would love to get a real meeting with a psychiatrist one day, but I guess today isn't that day."
"My son and I have only just started meeting with my therapist, but she makes my son feel comfortable, which is big because he is dealing with a lot of fear. She listens more than she talks, which I think is a good thing considering we are just starting, but she gives reasonable advice, things I can actually do, and is very flexible when scheduling appointments. I think she will be a great help for both my son and myself."
