"King bed was comfortable, but the room needs to be updated. Especially the bathroom lighting. Also refrigerator should be not in a cabinet, needing to open two doors to get to a snack or drink stored inside. Breakfast, should be complementary and not $25 for a bowl of cold cereal and milk after paying a night stay. Lack of charts for luggage. Elevator not able to land on the correct floor. Needing to go to a different floor for ice, because the machine does not function on yours (MINE). many other things, but will cut it short by saying. Spend your money at a Motel and not this out dated Hotel."
"Here now, and so sick of bad hotel management and service. I look in the closet, and there is an ironing board, but no iron. Called down and the front desk said when her colleague comes in at 7am, she could see if one could be brought up. About 10 minutes later or less, she calls back and says housekeeping would be bringing it up. 20 minutes later I call, and they said housekeeping wasn't even in yet and wouldn't be in until 8am? Didn't tell me that initially, so I had been waiting for nothing. Said they didn't have access to the housekeeping room which I find hard to believe. So I leave for the day, arrive back, and wow... the iron is in the room, but they didn't clean the room!? I call down and they say housekeeping is only on request. Even though they don't communicate that when you check in nor anywhere in the room does it say that. She did offer towels and sheets... but wait... do they have access to the housekeeping room or not? Earlier it was no... now they do? Plus room is dated, water pressure horrible, bed mattress with a big dip, what a shame! I'm a Diamond Elite member, so Holiday Inn gets a lot of my $$ worldwide. I really am rethinking that. Everyone else should too."
"I checked in 02/10 for a night stay with my boyfriend and the person behind the count was a younger female. I wish I could remember her name but she was so amazing. Made me feel so welcomed. It was later in the afternoon around 4. She definitely understands customer services. The location itself is perfect with basically everything being less than 10 minutes away. The reason why I had to take a few stars away is they were having issues with the boiler. At first it was okay, I took a shower when I arrived. At night when I tried to shower again it was cold and would not heat up :( the same thing in the morning. I was told by the person who checked us in that I just needed to let them know but I honestly was too tired to change rooms and didn’t want to go through the hassle. I will be staying again in a few weeks possibly so I will review again and change the rating based on that experience. Not having warm water in your room really sucks."
"Stayed 1 night for a work trip. Staff was very friendly. I got in around 7pm and wanted to get something to eat at the hotel since they had a restaurant. Had a burger in the restaurant that was fresh and delicious. The bartender was very attentive. The room was great, bed was comfortable and clean! My only reason for 4 stars is the shower took a bit to warm up and really never got hot, and the water pressure was a little to low for my liking. Complimentary coffee in the morning was very nice! All in all this is a great location, great room, the pool looked very nice, but I didn’t get down there. I definitely recommend this location if you’re in the area."
"This is the long story on how we paid somewhere around $200, only to be told we needed to repay for an entirely new room if we wanted to use the room that we already prepaid for. We gave this hotel $200 and they gave us nothing. We didn't even inconvenience them. My fiancé and I were traveling for a celebration of life for her brother. After an emotional night, we got back to the hotel extremely late (5 a.m.) and missed our check-in time. We were completely unaware that there was a time to check in by, and we assumed our reservation was honored for the time we paid for. Apparently, at this hotel, they require you to check in by 3am. We haven't been able to find this requirement anywhere in writing still and when we asked to see the policy, they were unable to provide it. At 3am, they move their system to the next day, and any bookings from the previous one are gone. On top of this, a no-show fee is attached and charged to the booking. I found all of this to be somewhat understandable. Since we booked our stay through Expedia, we were charged a no-show fee on top of our hotel stay fee, AND we were not allowed to stay at the hotel using our prepaid reservation. They said there was nothing they could do but to offer us a new reservation for the room that we already paid for. The part that is disappointing here is that they claim to have nothing they can do for us when we knew they had a room prepared for us. Asking for more money in person to use the room we had already paid for seemed very unprofessional since we were not asking for a different checkout time or any other exceptions. We paid this hotel a bunch of money and didn't even end up staying. At 5:30 or so, we left and will never be returning."
