"Super friendly environment and everyone seems really eager to learn. Went in yesterday for a trim and some layers, got a treatment as well which was awesome, but the student was clearly quite new to long hair and once my hair dried I could see that the layers were quite choppy. Went back the next day and I said to just cut another 1-2 inches to remove the layers. Both the student and instructor agreed that the layers were choppy. Was happy with the result, but disappointed that they didn't offer the correction for free (was prepared to tip them the $9 anyway). Make sure you have an open schedule if you come (took over 3 hours the first day) and that you're not looking for a very complicated hair cut. I would recommend the treatments they have though."

"I had my hair cut by Florian yesterday and I’m very happy with the job she did. I got a trim, a bit of layering on the bottom, and a face frame for $9. She was very professional and gave me some suggestions as I only had a rough idea of what I wanted. When her instructor came to check her work at the end, she told her her work was beautiful. I was a walk-in and I didn’t have to wait very long."

"I was in Austin for 2 days and I stumbled upon this gem of a place. MaeMae was my stylist. I got an amazing haircut, deep conditioning and blow dry for a fraction of the cost of other salons. The instructors inspect the students often. MaeMae was wonderful and I highly recommend her."

"The salon is comfortable. I came at 6pm with appt booked with Tiara, friend told me she's good. But then, she was double booked to do nails. I planned to wait but the front desk suggest me to change a hairdresser. Before I walk in, saw Tiara was freed up. But I've been arranged to be handle by Amelia. She's new, I'm her first and turns out a good experience. She was really careful, instructors are around to check and help. I've got a great haircut for a really affordable price."

"One of the best barber and cosmetology schools I've ever been to. I completed my barber crossover program here and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. All of the instructors are amazing and so helpful. If your looking for an affordable haircut, shave, color, wax, style, or facial this is the place to go. If your looking to join an amazing industry of beauty and men's grooming this is also the place for you. They have the highest recommendation in my book."
