"Went in to get shoes for a friends birthday and had to wait over 15 minutes to get the shoe after they told me they had the size. They asked me to get the shoe on the display when they didn’t match the size. The front person told me the other shoe would be at the register and the cashier looked confused. She went to the back and I waited an additional 15 minutes just to tell me they only have the one shoe in the box for 9.5. Would have considered buying another shoe if it at least looked like they cared rather than just a “whoops my bad” type of energy. Bought over 8 pairs of shoes here never again. Fix communication and professionalism"

"Very bad attitude and service from employees. They never approached us to ask if we needed help (they ignored us), the employees were just chatting between them and when we asked one of the employees, her expression was bad. We ordered some tennis shoes that were on discount and the employee told us that she would have them at the register when we paid. It was time to pay and the cashier with a very bad attitude told us that the tennis shoes had not arrived yet and she told us to wait. After waiting for 40 minutes they told us that the tennis shoes were gone and that there was only one shoe and not the pair. Then I asked another employee and in a disrespectful and uncooperative manner she said that it wasn't her problem. Very bad attitude of the employees of this JD location (Barton Creek). I would never go to this store again. They make you feel like your time and money are worthless."

"After waiting 25 minutes, moody broccoli haired teens angrily explained to us that they were too understaffed, and there was only one of them in the back able to search for the shoes. Meanwhile 3 of them were standing around having a conversation. Feel bad for the single dude running around doing his job back there. Waited another 10 minutes, never got the shoes, ended up leaving. Classy experience!"

"First and last time buying shoes here. First time I bought shoes they charged me for the wrong shoe so I was over charged. I had to have them fix it. They were a mess. The shoes I bought for my kid were a half size too small, when I brought them back to exchange for a larger size the tall skinny female employees greeted us. We told them we needed a bigger size. She said they were in stock then our order request shows up in the little screen they got. After 30 min nothing, our shoes disappeared off the board and no one brought us shoes or even checked in on us. The employees is cursing joking around with other employees and loud. Then my husband tried to ask the status on the shoes and the employee said they would check on it themselves. We saw her run all around the store and avoid us for an additional 30 min. We finally asked a male employee with glasses for the shoes. He went and grabbed them right away. Some of the employees are horrible and have no customer service skills. 1 hour to exchange shoe size and would of been longer if we didn’t get up twice to get someone ourselves."

"I had such a great experience at this store , the employees were so accommodating and outgoing , helped me find my size in every shoe I wanted. The guy checking me out was especially nice , had a great conversation and left in the best mood , 100% recommend they have amazing shoe finds as well and at retail price."
