"My daughter started AAL bellfort campus in the 1st grade; she is now in the 5th. However, there was one school year in between we did not attend AAL. (It was a horrible experience) I am extremely happy, overly excited, relieved and very fortunate to be back at AAL for my daughter as well as my son who is now in 1st grade. The attention and dedication from the entire staff at AAL is exceptional. Ms Jackson is a great leader who puts the education and well being of the students as top priority. You can tell the passion she has for all of her students to really grasp & understand what it is they are learning. The smaller classroom setting is a parents dream (Or at least mine) when it comes to knowing my child can really focus opposed to bigger classroom sizes. 10/10 I recommend AAL. I have one final thought to leave about Academy of Accelerated Learning Belfort Campus; they may be small in size but mighty in education!!!"
"My children have been attending AAL for about 4 years now and I love it. The principal overall is amazing and assertive with parents and students. The teachers are very attentive to all of their students and are timely about any situation at hand. My concerns when it comes to my children are always priority and they have learned so much over the years. Even after Covid hit my children have been able to get back on track and up to speed. Mrs. Jackson as a principal shows so much concern for our children and it makes me feel comfortable knowing my children are in good hands when I am absent.. Thank You AAL Bellfort Campus.."
"I have two kids that atten AAL. One have been there since the 3rd grade and now is in 6th grade and one the 3rd grade. Ms. Jackson the school Principal is amazing she has set a private school environment for the school and staff. I have read some of the reviews that parents have wrote and it is not true. I Witness Ms. Jackson giving a child some pants because the child came to school with torn jeans on. There are no good Principal left like Ms. Jackson anymore. It is very very tough dealing with kids in school now of days there is no parent support. Those parent who wrote those untrue reviews are the parents with problem children and the parents want the principal and staff to raise there kids for them. One day I hope to see high school at the Bellfort location . If Ms. Jackson ever Resigned or she relocates I will Definitely unenrolled both of my children. Thanks."
"This school was amazing the first year my daughters started. I even gave them a 5 star rating. I had to edit it because the second year was horrible. They changed teachers and the change was horrible. I enrolled my children because my aunt taught here for a year. But it’s just a training school for teachers until they find something better. I felt like they counted my first grader out. They’re there just for a paycheck. The principal literally belittled me in a parent conference. My boyfriend was there with me as well as the school coach and even they were looking like what’s going on here this was not what the meeting was scheduled for. My daughter was not catching on to the coursework not because she couldn’t learn it but because the teacher didn’t care. My girls are in another school district in Sugarland and amazing students. Straight A students. My oldest (the one that they counted out) has been given 3 different awards and its only first cycle. She’s being asked to visit Washington DC with her teacher and principal and also is pictured on their website for her exemplary school spirit and performance. My other daughter was accepted to their gifted and talented program. And this is only first cycle. They made me think my daughter needed medicine or that something was wrong with her. But that was not the case. The teacher was the one that needed help. The teacher needed more training. I enrolled them here because of the lack of care from teachers in the assigned school district only to set them back by enrolling my children in this school. Please look into Harmony or Kipp but this school is not the right choice."
"If I could give 0 stars I would. When my children first started going to AAL the school was amazing but over the years it has gone downhill and a lot of the good teachers they had are not there anymore. If you have a concern about anything, do not expect for it to be taken seriously, and you can almost expect some sly remark. Filling out the parent concern form is a waste of time, no one will EVER get back to you. I have no problems with Ms. Jackson, but I believe that she could do better with her people skills, and really addressing legit concerns. I understand that some parents are extremely hard to deal with, but not all parents, so you should not treat all parents like they are. Speaking of hard to deal with parents, today I dropped my kids off and noticed an armed guard walking and up and down the perimeter (I guess parents shouldn't be notified that armed personnel will be walking around their children with a gun). AAL did not send a notice letting parents know that this was going to take place AT ALL. So when picking my kids up I asked one of the teachers why did the school feel the need to have an armed guard at the school (the response I won’t post), but it was exactly what I figured. He was there for rowdy parents apparently. I guess sending some type of notice or giving a heads up is too much like right. Anything can happen, how can I be prepared for certain situations if I am unaware that there is one. The lack of communication is really driving this once fantastic school into the mud. The teachers are great. I have yet to have a problem with any teacher. Mrs. Miller that works the front is AWESOME, it is always a pleasure to speak with Mrs. Miller. She does her best to work with the parents in the best interest of the children. The only problem I have is with the higher up admins. Also, if you are looking to find contact information for the board members good luck with that! You will have a better chance of finding a leprechaun’s pot of gold."
