"I have to give 1 Star to give a review, but this place deserves 0 stars. The administration and staff do not care about children. They bully and intimidate children instead of caring for them. I've seen children be spoken to cruelly and yelled at by the front office for being late. The children don't drop themselves off to school, so why get mad at the child? My kids hated school until I tansferred them to a different one. They are flourishing now outside of ILT. The school needs an overhaul from the front office to the cafeteria. I hate I didn't transfer my kids out sooner."
"My children have been going here for years and can't participate in any school activities. My daughter keep being to every year she can't tryout for cheerleader because of what grade she's in, apparently every year this changes. They have also suspended my son twice without notifying his parents or actually send him home if he's suspended. They just put it on his record. Very unprofessional staff. This will definitely be our last year at iltexas"
"DON’T send your kids to this school!! I made a mistake of sending my kid for a year in this school and will definitely not returning this coming school year. My son was chosen as student of the month. Didn’t get any certificate as a proof of the huge achievement. School didn’t even notify me as a parent. Then I got a call from CPS that a complaint was filed against me and my husband by this school. We got cleared by CPS. Then we had a Zoom Call with 3 teachers telling me that my son failed the STAAR tests miserably as in his scores are in red level. My son belong to Gifted and Talented club and he received the A&B honor roll certificate. My son attended part of the summer classes that they required for failing the STAAR tests from June 1-16. After one week of attending, I received a message from another teacher that my son PASSED both tests. After receiving that message, we decided not to let him complete the summer classes. Finally, the official results of STAAR tests was released in TEA website on July 1, 2022 and my son clearly PASSED both of his tests with flying colors as in he is in top 25% of his grade level in the whole Texas. Telling a student that he failed miserably only to find out that he passed it is not a joke. Their campus performance in STAAR tests are no good."
"Everyone is very careless, rude and unprofessional. I’ve been placed on hold several times within one phone call then hung up on before ever speaking to anyone plenty of times. I was once given the wrong child when attempting to pick my niece/nephew up. Had I not had said anything I would’ve been able to walk away with someone else kid. I’ve witnessed the rude administrator threatened to take a fight outside with a parent while arguing with the parent. The parent was calm the whole time. My son experienced bullying while teachers ignored it and I was never given the opportunity to have a conference."
"I overall love the academics that this school provides but this is my brother's first year at this school he's in the first grade. And for about 4-5 weeks he's come home and told me that other kids hit him or call him names. I try not to instill violence into but I've told him to tell the teachers. I'm also upset about how there is no communication between the school and the teachers. Not one time have they called my mother or me to tell us an incident has occurred. I am so over this school to be honest, my brother has come home and begged myself and my mother to put him in a different school which broke my heart. Schools are not always how they seem and I'm so close to coming up to the school and lashing on every one but I'm going to be mature and not act on feelings. Thanks for reading ."
