"I don't know how the school is this year, but being an alumni (shoutout to the band and all my friends when i used to go here), i can say that it's up to every person that enters the doors of the school from early morning to late at night to make a change. Just as in anywhere in america, It's up to the people to make a change, and those that blame others only hold themselves and others back. You can't just dump or pin the blame on people because you're butthurt or upset about something, whether you like it or not. Change will come when every person in the school makes an active effort to make and promote change. You can't ignore the students and blame everything on how the staff and faculty runs things or ignore the staff and blame the students that have poor educational or motivational effort, you have to look at every single person. Doing this isn't as hard as some (or most) of you may think it is, as long as you have the right mindset and put effort (no matter how small or large) into what you do and your will to make change, it will eventually happen."
"Wish I could give zero stars, but this school is really bad. Good teachers but bad workers from the office. Especially the ones who are there to check the absents they be calling and calling. Like what the f**k we bring the damn excuses the f**ck yall keep calling and calling when we bring the excuses the worker who check also get mads, tf it's her/his job to do it and take it off with the excuses. Parents know stop calling. My sisters goes there, some teachers get in a relationship with the students, the food is bad. The school make you wait for hours to get in the registration. Workers are rude asf f**ck the ones from the officer and the ones who do the absents, the registration and all. Theres fight, gang members, drugs. I don't recommend this school at all."
"it is awesome there, sure the students can be bad but the school keeps on improving. im telling you, at first i was grossed out of that school, but then i saw how great the school actually is plus with a new principal lee is even getting a 21st century school in 3 years. im actually proud to be in this school"
"i would give zero stars. this "school" barely deserves the name school. lee high school is not about learning, is not about the students, lee high school is about money. money to the principle and the people that own it, not to the actual school (other than the new campus funded by the government witch will be degraded just like this campus is), and certainly not to the students whom desperately need a reason to stay in school . i am currently a freshman in this "school" and withing the first week i learned the poor state of disrepair of everything. if you can think of it this school has broken it or it is in the process of breaking. the ceiling the floor the walls the ac the desks the fans the lights the windows the paint on the walls, the elevator, the trash bins, the doors, the mirrors, the textbooks, the roof, EVERYTHING.the attitudes of the staff and the cheapness and lack of care by the superiors, coupled with the state of EVERYTHING, means that nobody wants to finish school or learn. i applied to go to another school (a real school) and was denied so instead of going through three more years of lee i will drop out of high school."
"People see this school as a bad school, but is really not. This school has been the best school I've attend. The administration is not that good but the teachers are great, they'll do whatever they can just to help you learn and understand. My principal wanted to move me to Westside because where I'm zoned at but I talked (brought my parents) to her and convinced her to let me stay in Lee. I'm a Junior & I've been in Lee since freshman year, Class of 2015."
