"Doesn’t offer a diverse educational experience for children of color. Great educational program but lacks diversity. It’s important when dealing with young development and helping children grow into well rounded adults. I think it’s very important to include diversity at such a young age. Also, I recall the staff was not aware of the students and the bullying that occurred on property from other students. Please work to change this culture to help cultivate a positive environment for children of color."

"My children attend St. Francis de Sales Catholic School. I cannot say enough good things about this school and community. Their commitment to education and offering a well rounded experience has far surpassed our expectations. Educationally, my children thrive in this friendly yet firm setting. SFdS is one of the few Houston area Catholics schools that still have a Sister on campus. Beyond academics and religion, our children are involved with many extra curricular activities such as basketball, soccer, science club, etc. - most offered for a small fee right after school as an alternative to aftercare."

"Saint Francis de Sales is a hidden gem in the sharpestown area, a centralized location in Houston. The organized structure of educational development far exceeds my expectations. In addition, my kids have learned and lived the Catholic foundations that was taught to them. The school has been around over 50 years, with the principal Mrs. Wooten and her wonderful staff of teachers and aides leading young valiants to a successful path. Teachers do an amazing job on communicating the progress of the individual students to parents. The school embraces the diverse cultural backgrounds of the student body. SFDS is a family oriented school that encourges and integrates parent, grandparent, sibling participation in school events. Overall, the environment is very welcoming, yet still remains structured. It really says something about the school when your child looks forward to school in the morning and is sadden to be picked up, but excited for the next day."
