"I am 4 years late with my review but I have been coming to Dr. Demerson for several years. She always makes me feel at ease and while I can tend to spiral with "what ifs" scenarios, I appreciate her one step at a time approach to things. She is a busy Doctor but takes the time to answer my questions. I have never had an issue with the front staff. Appointments are not easiest to come by at times, but I understand that and I can plan ahead of time to make the appointment times that are available. When I was in labor I was ready to push at 11:59pm 12/23. Dr Demerson had told me that she would be on vacation starting 12/24. She technically did not have to arrive to deliver my daughter but she made it to the hospital within 30 minutes even though her vacation technically started. I truly appreciated her doing that because it was my fear that I would have to give birth with another doctor with my Holiday baby! I hope and pray I can stay her patient for my future deliveries. I make the drive to her from Mont Belvieu now, highly recommend her."
"I had a good experience with Dr. Millet UNTIL I constantly asked questions about my pregnancy. It seemed as if she was annoyed by it. Long story short, I had asked if I could get a cesarean section, and she said no. No problem. However, when I went into labor, the nurses at the hospital called her, and she had the nerve to say I was not in labor. The nurses told her I was, and she never came. They sent another obstetrician. I do not know her name, but she was Asian. This woman did not come to check on me for more than 7 hours, and then one of the nurses had the nerve to tell me to stop pushing. My body was pushing with each contraction, and I was unable to control it. My MIL had to go get the Doctor, and she came with an attitude and lifted my hospital gown. She got scared when she saw all the blood and also had the nerve to tell me to hold it until she was ready (I had been in labor and trying to keep the baby inside for 9 hours). After I had my baby, I did not have a regular menstrual cycle for more than four years. I would not have a cycle for 6 to 11 months, and Dr. Milllet would always say it was normal. I was trying to conceive, and she would check my ovaries after I begged to get an ultrasound. She would always say it was normal and get annoyed at my persistence. She would say that my brain was not sending a signal to my body. I got tired of it and went to a specialist in infertility and immediately got diagnosed with PCOS. I have been treating myself with Western medicines, and now I have a regular menstrual cycle. After years of getting treated at this facility, I decided to stop because of the way my concerns were disregarded and not taken seriously."
"Thank you so much Dr Demerson (1st visit with her after previous dr. left) for suggesting the new medication Veozah for my menopause. It really works . Took it the same night after doctor visit. Best nights sleep in many years. No tossing and turning or night sweats. Not even waking up to use restroom. Woke up feeling well rested. Every 2 months visits for follow ups will be worth it."
"Best ever!! Dr. Falk was my doctor for 35 years. I wished that I could have said goodbye before I left for Overland Park, Kansas."
"I’ve been coming here since 2015 and today was the first day I ever felt like I was completely ignored. I’ve had my appointment booked for a while and show up to them saying it was canceled because insurance won’t pay for it right now and that I should have received a text or email saying it was. I have MS and am half blind, it takes me a while to be able to get out of the house after I finally find a ride from my family/friends. We drove all the way out here for me to be told I can keep my appointment if I want to pay for it myself. After telling them a new date I had open I was told my doctor was out that whole week. Super frustrating dealing with all of this with someone just repeating that I can be seen today if I pay for it. My doctor has always been great to me, but the front staff has always been iffy. I pick specific days that work around my condition and health problems for a reason. If you’re going to cancel my appointment, I’d like to know before I put in all the work to get there. I wasted my time and money today, and I’m now in a lot of pain from a car ride I didn’t need to even do."
