"This school is amazing! I have 3 children that attend and have strided in every way possible in this school. The teachers are very nice. I highly recommend this school if in the humble school district"
"I so dislike this school. The kids have early release days literally every month, but only at THIS school, it is not the same early release days across the district. I have a child in high school and he has a standard schedule. Also, it is almost impossible to call and actually get through to the front desk. My kids live in the same subdivision where the school is located. One day it was raining so hard that I asked my husband to drop my kids off at the school instead of them having to walk in the rain for several blocks (no bus service to our house) and I work downtown and have to leave the house early. I actually got a call from the school telling me how my kids should not have been dropped off 30 minutes early. But yet walking several blocks in the rain, drenched all day in school was somehow a better option? Ridiculous."
"Teachers dont bother if kids are being bullied . That is not right because there are days that my nephew doesnt want to attend school because of kids in class bothering him calling him names! This will not continue his dad will go and talk to them and see what is going on that the teacher doesnt care if kids dont feel comfortable!!!!!"
"I absolutely love this school!! My kids have been in this school since PRE- K. Even when I moved out of the district I continued to bring them here. The staff there is very helpful I really like that when my children were struggling to read they would pull them individually aside for tutoring during school hours. The teachers are very helpful teaching wise and going above and beyond. My son one year had his backpack chewed apart by our dog and the next day explained to his teacher, and the following day she brought him a backpack. Thank you so much for that it really meant a lot to my son and me. When I go to the school all the teachers greet my kids and I know it sincere, and I have never had a problem with any students and or teachers. I hope this was helpful"
"If I could give this school a 0, I would! I feel like all of the good reviews here are from actual teachers and not parents of the students. The newest principal is a joke and acts nice when you meet her but she's manipulative and doesn't really care. I pulled my daughter from this school after a terrible incident where a boy (twice my child's size) pushed my daughter down, breaking her arm in three places (twice on the ulna and once on the radius). The school didn't even call to check on her when clearly she was hurt badly (the bones were snapped in half!). The principal actually told me I was being greedy for asking for the other parent's insurance information. I mean really! She then proceeded to just tell me that she didn't want to be involved anymore and to not call her. This incident was the third one involving this student in just two and a half weeks of the start of last school year. THE BULLYING HAS TO STOP!!! When will the schools take a stand??? I mean, what's wrong with expulsion? I had witnesses and they could have cared less. It's a shame that this school couldn't do more for my daughter but I pulled my straight A student from this non-caring school. It took her three months in three different casts and will take another another four months in therapy to get her arm healed from this boy's meanness. The principal actually held a parent meeting the day after she was told by the Superintendent that I was pulling my child from her school in which she asked for parent support/money for after school activities that would ultimately reduce the bullying in this school. RIDICULOUS!!!"
