"Ace of Skates: Where Passion Meets Expertise (and Perfectly Fitting Skates... Even on Christmas Eve!) If you're looking for a skate shop that's more than just a store, look no further than Ace of Skates. My recent experience there was nothing short of phenomenal, thanks to their amazing customer service and unmatched expertise. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who genuinely cared about helping me find the perfect skates. They didn't just point me towards the fanciest boots or the most expensive setup. Instead, they took the time to measure my feet, understand my skating goals, and listen to my frustrations with my previous skates (a pair of Bont Prostars that just weren't working for me). With their assistance I landed on an Antik Ar2 boots, Atom Pilot Falcon plates, and a set of wheels that matched my skating style. And the best part? Even though it was close to Christmas, they didn't hesitate to offer mounting my plates and even had them ready by Christmas Eve! Talk about going the extra mile! I got a chance to put on my Antik Ar2s today after I got them and they fit like a GLOVE. The falcon plates were so nimble compared to my Prostars Tracer plates and the better fitting boots improved my ability to balance by several fold. The moment I put them on I was able to do things in them that I just couldn't figure out how to do in my ill fitting Prostars and I am so happy that I purchased these skates."

Had the worst wobble in my skates and ace of skates flawlessly provided an additional tip to apply washers beneath each wheel before putting on the nut and tightening for BEST results, also rotated my pivot cups and provided instructions on making my own!! "I went to Ace of Skates last month to buy my first adult pair of quad skates. I have joined SO many Facebook groups, done my reading, and looked up so many different skates and had an idea in my mind of what I wanted. I am a beginner and I simply want a pair of affordable skates that are going to also be quality. A lot of skates I was looking at seemed to be a bit higher than I was wanting to pay (I hope I end up being awesome and making it a consistent hobby- but I know for now due to work I won't get to practice as much as I would like). I started following Ace of Skates on Facebook and Instagram and one day- I saw this BEAUTIFUL black/gold sparkly pair that was totally reasonable in price- adjustable toe stops and stitched soles, aluminum plate, hybrid wheels, and pretty cushioned- couldn't ask for more and the value is fantastic- Bout Betties Champagne Dreams! I went to the shop, I tried on the first pair- they fit- and I went for it. The pads and helmets are also the same price as online (even less expensive than some sites!) so why not buy here instead to support local! All skates were very reasonable priced, especially during this time where many places are totally price-gouging... not here! Ace is awesome and answered all of my questions and has incredible service- even let me come in on a Sunday to ask even more questions and help me further. Truly a kind, welcoming person that didn't make me feel intimidated or silly for being an anxious newbie, and is excited to spread their passion and art with others. The shop has so many accessories, gear, clothing, EVEN MASKS so you can skate safely. They have a lot of skates and sizes, and Ace will help guide you down the right path and even customizes skates and gear with beautiful art!
