"Worst card shop owner ever I took about 2k In cards there I told him I wanted about half the value or close to it, he looked at a quarter of the cards, less than half of them, and instantly offered 250$ for all of them, I laughed and that’s when he said well you never said how much you wanted for them. Everyone do your research on what you have before getting ripped off"
"Kenny’s has been a great place for my son to learn about card collecting. Tons of stock and a laid back environment make it an easy weekend outing and we always find a fun treasure."
"The BEST cards and collectibles shop in Texas. Kenny is a top notch person and owner. He always take care of his customers and his prices are unbeatable. I will be a patron of Kenny’s Colletibles for life!"
"After reading multiple reviews about customers, very dissatisfied on pricing offered for their product. I decided to drive a little over 35 miles to see what these bad reviews were about. I thought maybe customers were not doing homework or proper research on what they actually had and expecting something unreal which I do understand this company is in business to make money I myself I am a business owner, I’m also a secret shopper which I purposely brought five cards non-graded with me to try to either make a trade or sale and I have done my homework and let’s just say on the lower side of recent sales total were $400 on sites like eBay or different websites. This is for all five cards. One card in particular was $225 and the other ones $50 and $60 somewhere around there I’m not far off by a couple of dollars. I almost brought my cards worth let’s just say a few zeros behind the coma. They were graded, so I did not want to bring them to maybe give away my cover. As stated these cars were near meant but not graded. Before I tell you what I was offered, I am serious, seriously, considering opening up a collectible business as close as I can across the street to give collectors like me a fair shake, and not pennies on the dollar they are the worst pawnshops. I was offered $50 for all five which was a complete insult because two if not three were worth that alone apiece. To me that is not customer satisfaction. That is complete. Disregard for the customer. And they tried to act like they know more than the customer and yeah, that might be true in some cases, but we still half to be transparent and fair for us collectors. It’s clear the reviews I have read were in fact true. It is ridiculous. I do understand like I said they have to pay bills but there’s a way to pay bills and as well give customer complete satisfaction and fairness. As I stated, I was a secret shopper and I have to say I’m not sure if this is a pawnshop collectible store. I had a friend several months back, sell the cards, which was a very lowball offer which he did not want to take but I paid him the difference the reason why I was curious on what the shop would sell them for. And I could not believe seven times over on what they paid for the cards. Granted it was only three was still I was truly amazed. Until my wife and I decide if I should pursue opening up a shop. I would highly recommend if you want to be treated, fair and clear transparency. Go see my buddy I see my buddy probably doesn’t even know my name been in business many many years. Card traders of Austin I’m not saying you were going to get the price you want but I can guarantee the price offered will be transparent and explained fully on how the price he came up with is what he can pay. He probably would not remember me, nor do. I have any affiliation with the old man. But that is what Customer Service is all about I just hope my wife will let me open up the shop south. Let’s just say I won’t be returning to Kenny’s collectibles of rip offs."
"Kenny's Collectibles is an awesome shop for sports cards with reasonable prices. In addition to lots of sports memorabilia and recent high-end sports cards, he also has a large display of authenticated and graded vintage baseball cards that is fun to flip through. I picked up a nice, graded Hank Aaron card the other day for a good price."
