"I have been taking my cars to Fred and Paul for about 23 years now. They always give superb service. They have rebuilt a Ford AOD transmission in my Lincoln Town car in 2001, it now has 150,000 miles on this transmission and is still running good. The transmission from the factory broke down after 100,000 miles. They have replaced water pumps on my cars. They have rebuilt a rear differential for me. Actually they have done more work for me on my cars and trucks than I can mention. Everyone that I have referred to them have raved about them too. Without them I would have needed to buy a new car about every 3 years."

"I highly suggest this place. Fred and Paul are honest and I felt cared for. They truely care for their customers and their diagnostic fee was very reasonable. I bought an used car with a bad transmission. They spend close to two hours inspecting/driving the car. The engine light was not on. They pinpointed the problem and explained the issue in a simple manner. The car was making a humming noise at the pinion bearing. They also went into details about the approx. cost to repair the problem and the cons of it. I was within the implied warranty (Illinois Law to protect consumers when buying a car from a dealer.)
