"I was with this pharmacy for 2 years and recently made the switch to Walgreens. Most (but not all) of my interactions with the staff were pleasant enough and the folks weren't rude when I called... but to be honest, they weren't really nice either. I'm easy to please and don't expect much because I know they're in over their heads in prescription requests/refills/phone calls/insurance verification/etc. They really don't have an easy job and the people they deal with on a regular basis can be pretty hateful in general. I leave 3 stars because regardless of the occasional snappiness, they did their best and they always worked with me when something would go wrong. It was when I was taking a specific type of medication that some minor issues started. Refills were sometimes terribly difficult, which led me to feel embarrassed and ashamed of my own disorder - something I was literally born with. The pharmacist even tried to tell me that my doctor "shouldn't be prescribing this" at one point last year. That is between my doctor and I and if she had concerns, she should have called him instead of confronting me in front of a crowd. But even after all of that, I was willing to stick it out with this pharmacy because it's close, their prices are decent, and they're fairly quick. I also forgive easily and didn't let that ruin things for me. Their biggest flaw (and the reason I left) is that they are always low on stock. I plan very far ahead, but with some medication - you can't submit a refill until it's due, meaning you can only have it filled ON THE DAY it must be picked up. Unfortunately, this is something you may take every day and when they only have 29/30, they legally cannot fill the rx without your doctor changing it to #29. I do understand that, but it seemed like every month there was a problem and every month, my "pick-up" date was pushed out due to some mishap or shortage, which left me without medication for days. For me, this is unacceptable and can even be life threatening. There was even a time that I lost a bottle of my blood pressure medication while on Thanksgiving vacation and they refused to give me a refill 2 weeks early. I don't know the protocol at Wal-Mart, but I lost an entire bottle of antibiotics a few years ago and my pharmacist refilled it right away for the amount I would have had left, so I know that they can use their best judgement with most things and they chose not to for me which was a little insulting since it was a medication for blood pressure. Overall, this is a good pharmacy. I would recommend using them if you don't have regular, daily medication. However, if you're like me and have more than a few regular and possibly peculiar prescriptions, go elsewhere. There really isn't much consistency in their policies or behaviors."
"Horrible service from this pharmacy from mr prinya just siting down relaxing no customer service"
"This pharmacy has by far the best customer service around! I have had several issues with my insurance and the techs here worked really hard to get them fixed so I could get my med for my baby. The pharmacist also takes time to go over then medication with you in detail with side effects to watch for. Highly recommend this place!"
"The pharmacists and pharmacist techs here have been getting progressively more and more rude over the past year. They act like its an inconvenience to fill your prescription, it is never ready when they say it will be, and they treat you like a criminal even if you are picking up something as simple as Enbrel. I'll definitely be looking for a new pharmacy."
"Every single time I have to use this pharmacy I literally dread it. Either it’s never ready when they say it’s going to be ready, OR they’ll say it’s ready and when I go to pick it up they don’t have the prescription or don’t have enough pills to fill it. My doctor called in 2 prescriptions this morning, and I go in around 5:30 to check the status on it. The pharmacy tech said I’ll be lucky if it’s ready by 8 pm. I asked her to please at least have the one I needed ready by the end of the night and she said she’ll try but don’t count on it. 8:30 came along so I called to see if they could have it ready before they close and she rudely said no. Every Time I have to get something filled they always give me a runaround. I’m so disgusted by these so called medical “professionals”."
