"This group just emailed me back about their Social Anxiety Group Therapy stating that it's Virtual-only. They do realize what it means to have Social Anxiety.. right? I'm already really good at talking to my computer screen, I do it for both school and my job for the past year. I might as well pay a swim instructor to tell me how to swim via a zoom meeting. They want 60$ a session to do pretty much nothing, I'll just watch Youtube videos about social anxiety for free. Im vaccinated, wear my mask, and socially distance. In-person groups are the only thing Im paying for."
"So far, our experience has gone from fantastic to really bad. We set up an appointment online for the next day. Great start! We showed up for our appointment as scheduled on time. Because of COVID, there was a note on the clinic door that said to call from your car to let them know you were there (smartly keeping all out of the reception area). We called for 20 minutes. No one answered the phone... Then when someone did answer the phone (10 minutes after our appointment time), we were told the therapist would not be able to make it. The therapist apparently was supposed to reach out to us. She did not. Very disappointing, especially in time of need. And still, nobody cares that this happened..."
