"I’m very disappointed by the decision to add alarms to the carts. Today I had my toddler with me and he had a kid’s cart. We went through the check out, paid for our items, and then near the exit I stopped my cart to allow him to put his kids cart away. When I tried to then get my cart out the door, the wheels locked up and the alarms went off. Besides having the entire store look at me, the most upsetting part was that my toddler freaked out and ran out of the store without me to avoid the noise from the loud alarm. I’m so grateful he didn’t keep going out into the street. I understand these were probably added to prevent theft, but I personally would rather frequent Dierbergs down the street after this incident."

"Ordered chicken called to make sure order was received, they said it was ready. Went by to pick up and it was not ready, someone had told several others the same thing. Ordered oven roasted fried chicken we received fried chicken. Will not do this again, very disappointed"

"Schnucks, y'all gotta do better. Your produce is terrible most weeks. I've bought my share of rotten fruits and veggies and not even known they were rotten until I got back home. I've been bagging my own groceries for the last year because there is never anyone to bag. Check out lanes are filthy every time; I'm scared to put my groceries on the belt for fear I'll get food poisoning from all the gunk left behind that is never cleaned up. The store aisles are just as dirty. Groceries have tripled in price the last 2 years, your customer service and cleanliness has to get better."

"I’m from Florida, so we don’t have Schnucks. Nothing about these stores are a “Must See” aside from their huge alcohol selection and these FRIED CROISSANTS. I went on I think a Saturday and there was a swarm of people in the bakery department. I guess doughnuts are their thing. They carry a wide variety for a beyond reasonable price. I bought 1 fried croissant and went back later in the day for another and they were gone. The only ones left were a box of six that someone called to have set aside. It had been hours since they called and bakery was shutting down for the day so the baker let me have them. If you see them TRY THEM. They are so flaky, crusty, and delicious. Throw in some coffee and there is no better way to start your day. You just have to get there early because THEY GO FAST. I also love that the store has self checkout."

"MASKS REQUIRED! THANK GOD! I was pleasantly surprised to see they gave our free masks to their shoppers! Everyone in the store had on masks. SEAFOOD DEPARTMENT: They streamed and seasoned the crab I selected from the floor freezer. It was ready in about 15 minutes. Tasted great, just wish id gotten more. This Schnucks had the last 2 six packs of Michelob Lager, as Michelob has stopped production of this product. Super happy about that!"
