"30% markup fee is outrageous, then tax on that, labor charge, which is a little more palatable. But then, $24 for shop supplies: for what? You changed a battery. Did you use $24 in shop towels? No. Just another charge to turn a $150 battery into $370. Highway robbery. I didn't ask for or want a diagnostic test that also cost $60+. You get to take the old battery to the recycler and earn more money. I'm looking for another mechanic. I can't afford to pay double this kind of money. I'm a senior who is also a disabled veteran."

"The guys put my car up and found the radiator leak as I expected. They were very nice about telling me the news…even though it is a definite needed replacement they were not pushy and very understanding when I said I had to wait a month. I compared prices of the needed work and Butitta Bros are reasonable. I will have them do the work soon and hopefully the next job can be a little more down the road.
