"I went to the Festus location this past Thursday, 9-21-23. I had a similar experience here a few months ago, but I was hoping it would be better the next time I came because this store used to be run very well. We walked in and waited a good five minutes before we were greeted. The man running the counter was too busy with the drive through, and there didn't seem to be any other employees, except the cook. The cook was very angry about something. He was slamming and tossing the food on the ledge that was to be served to the drive through. He was shaking his head and rolling his eyes, becoming more angry with each order because of the rush. I assumed they were very short staffed and he was frustrated. I then really worried about my food, but it was all deep fried and it was okay, except the okra which was really old. The dining room was very dirty. Trash on the floor and unclean tables. Salt shakers near empty. The men's bathroom had absolutely no soap, and in fact, the container that held the soap was on the floor. I'm sorry, but It is more than apparent that no one cares about this store. At all. The owner would do well just to come in and work himself. I do not know what has happened. This place used to be clean, and a manager would come around and ask you if your meal was okay. No more. Very disappointing."
