Cracker Barrel Old Country Store 2001 Formosa Road, Troy, IL 62294

"Not to busy, so happy there were only a few screaming kids, noise carries in the dining area. Hamburger steak was salty, never had that happen before. I like salt but this was salty. Ordered gravy, had to ask someone walking around for it. Had to ask for biscuits, ask for jelly, carrots were very hard. Where was our server? I had to go to kitchen entrance to ask for to-go boxes. Everyone was very nice but servers need to check on tables."

"Just HAVE to give props to the manager (at least I think he was the manager) on 1/6 at 830pm. I ordered a chicken pot pie for curbside pickup, and the manager came out to tell me that the pot pie is not supposed to be available anymore but that he made me one anyway. He said I would have to wait about 10 more minutes for it to finish baking, which I said was fine, but he also offered me a free piece of cake for having to wait. The food was still piping hot when I got back to my hotel, and it was delicious to boot. INCREDIBLE customer service."

"I would like to let cracker barrel know about the exceptional service from our waiter Joey W.. He was kind, patient, caring and I saw him consoling and older women who was sitting by herself. He seemed to be listening very closely and put his hand on her shoulder to comfort her. He was a young gentleman and he his service is top notch! We were ordering our food and it’s was like he was a friend we have never met! The cashier was also excellent! In a world where good service is hard to find this kid was a breath of fresh air! He worked in first section when you enter the eating area."

"Beautiful american nostalgic atmosphere, staff are very nice and friendly very attentive too, fast service. Food is good, i love the burnt edges of their pancakes, country fired steak is a little too hard of a crunch for me, not my taste for myself. I like their hashbrown casserole too. Their shopping store is great lot of vintage and good stuff in there. Will still go back!"
