"It absolutely breaks my heart to give this review but I will never ever go back to Dr. Ramirez' office. He's amazing but unfortunately his staff is HORRIBLE. I'm a new mom and learning all about how to do this pediatrician thing and they are impatient, uncooperative and rude. Last week, my insurance had a lapse and they denied my infant her 2 month shots- Dr. Ramirez was super apologetic and told me to come back ASAP and we would get her in no matter what. I jumped through hoops to get her insurance corrected and drove all the way back to the office (I live off McNeil Drive and the Dr's office is off 38th)- get there and the receptionist looks at me like I have two heads. She scolds me about the time I can walk in (Dr. Ramirez never told me that) and refused to look up my insurance... I had the ID number and 800 number to verify, they just rushed us out so they could go to lunch- even shut the lights out while we were there. Rude. So my infant is now two weeks overdue for her shots. They don't care about her or her health whatsoever. Dr. Ramirez has been wonderful and attentive but his staff- especially the front desk and whatever nurse gave her rude two-cents... SUCKS."
"My twins are 5 yrs and we have seen Dr Ramirez since Day 1. We feel very lucky to have such a great resource. I feel that the charges are reasonable and the care is Excellent. We have a personal relationship even though we only go to see him 2 or 3 times a year."
