Reviews
"We have been patients at GROW since they opened and I simply cannot praise them enough. My youngest, who has not aged out of GROW yet, is battling a serious health condition and without the support of Laura Wise, her nurse Jasmin, Gladys and everyone else on their care team, I am not sure where we would be today. Dr. Wise truly is one of a kind; compassionate, caring, and direct when she needs to be."
"We are so happy we found Grow and the wonderful community they have built. Making appointments is so easy. The nurses are always so pleasant when I call frantic about a sick kid. Every doctor we have had the pleasure of working with ( and with 3 young kids we have seen them all) has been wonderful. And the new location in Mueller is beautiful and closer to home."
"We’ve been with this place for nearly a decade. So very disappointed. Doctor, 10, nurses, 10, front desk, 0. awful, rude, accusatory, dismissive. They seem to hate their job. I hope that the management sees these reviews. Don’t ruin a good practice by terrible front desk staff."
"Our experience with Grow Pediatrics, particularly with Dr. Wise, has been outstanding since the birth of our daughter, Noora, who is now 14 months old. Dr. Wise has been an integral part of Noora's health and development journey from the beginning. Dr. Wise's approach to pediatric care is exemplary. She combines professional medical expertise with a warm, engaging manner, which makes each visit a positive experience for Noora. Dr. Wise starts her appointments by interacting playfully with Noora, easing any anxiety associated with doctor visits. This approach not only comforts Noora but also builds a trusting and cooperative environment, essential for effective pediatric care. Grow Pediatrics, as a facility, complements Dr. Wise's approach perfectly. The clinic provides a welcoming, child-friendly environment that prioritizes patient comfort and care. The staff is professional and courteous, contributing to a seamless and pleasant healthcare experience. In terms of medical expertise, Dr. Wise is thorough, knowledgeable, and up-to-date with the latest developments in pediatric health. She communicates complex medical information in an accessible manner, a quality we highly value as parents. Her clear and concise explanations enable us to make informed decisions about Noora's healthcare. Dr. Wise's compassionate nature and genuine concern for Noora's well-being have made her an invaluable asset to Grow Pediatrics. She provides practical, evidence-based advice and addresses our concerns with patience and clarity. In summary, our experience at Grow Pediatrics, especially with Dr. Wise, has been exceptional. We highly recommend Dr. Wise to any parent seeking a pediatrician who excels in medical care and genuinely connects with children. She is not just a healthcare provider but a trusted guide in our daughter's health and development."
"Hi everyone. My son was accepted to this clinic from the moment he was born and everything had been going fine until it was not. Dr. Owens was our provider and she was great. However, just before my sons 15 months well check they moved to another location and that changed everything. From the moment we got there they started causing troubles. They changed all the staff I guess because the level of rudeness was over the roof. The lady at the front desk asked me for up to date insurance card. And that is fine, it's justified. However, my insurance card was already up to date. But that lady couldn't stop asking and insisting that it's not. That was actually kind of funny how unprofessional she was. She doesn't know how to see the difference between the valid or invalid insurance card and policy. At some point after her torturing me with this question for some time I gave up and promised to update it. (Even though it was up to date- as far as my insurance company is concerned). That was just the beginning. The nurse called us in. ( me, my son and my spouse). Then we undressed the baby, changed his diaper and went to weight him in the hall and do the measurements. At some point he got upset because the nurse was rude to him. She proceeded with the measurements even though he started crying but she didn't care. We had to ask her to stop and maybe do it later. We came back to the room where she presented us some papers about vaccines being due at that point. Since my son was very upset we asked her to cancel vaccines for that day or do them after we see the doctor. She went after the doctor and came back saying that doctor won't see you until after you get vaccinated. We said why it can't be done after and couldn't hear any explanation. Anyway the nurse went to ask the doctor again and came back with her supervisor who said that we ran out of time which was 30 minutes for the whole visit and we can wait for another 2 hours or leave. We talked for some time trying to understand how on Earth they call it a well check if we don't get anything at all and the only option was to reschedule. Anyway, we rescheduled after some arguing whether it was wrong or right. The fun part in all this story happened on the very next day when I got a call from the process administrator Emily who accused us of being rude and terminated us as patients. Well, let's say that was at least mean, but basically unprofessional and very uncalled for. As a result my son was afraid to be seen by another nurse or doctor. He experienced the mental trauma. They refused us a medical care, his vaccination schedule was put in jeopardy. And overall that was stressful for me my spouse and my son. You can make conclusions based on your own experience, but keep in my mind that my son was victimized by these guys and it is worth mentioning and considering. And they didn't even care. Please be aware that at this place they can be nice to you and pretend that they care but at some point you would be very surprised. ( then remember « I told you so »). Lucky us we were able to find another place where we got vaccinated and seen by nice and pleasant doctor. But like I said my son got scared and still scared of any doctors because of Grow Pediatrics."
