"OK, I had to review just so I could comment on the fire that a previous poster said Bexley caused trying to clear brush. This is 100% false. Bexley doesn't even own the land where the fire started. FIRE SPRINKLERS WORK and are regularly checked. The only time they get shut off is if there is a freeze and the pipes burst. Maintenance responds quickly, the landscaping is nice as well as the pool area. Are there issues? Sure there are issues, like neighbors who don't pick up after their pets, leave trash outside of the compactor when it's empty, take glass into the pool area, throw trash in the parking lot, blare tv's and stereos and allow their children to yell and scream at the top of their lungs in apartments and breezeway."
"Bexley silverado is the worst place to live besides the location. If you plan on moving here be fearful of your life. They tried to burn down the woods behind the apartments for cheaper brush clearing without permits and nearly burned down the whole community. They will lie to your face just to get commission on a signed lease. They will harass and spread your name and information to scammers and other community members. They will also keep your deposit no matter what you do. They over charge for what ever they can and the fire sprinklers have not been working in a year. Hints why they almost burned to the ground. Although if u are an immigrant or don't have a social security they will gladly put you in an apartment just know they will charge you hella fees when u move out and keep the deposit."
"My experience with Bexley has been quite good. Lived there for an year and moved out recently. Pros: 1. Location - conveniently located on Parmer, near to groceries, shops, restaurants, parks etc. 2. School zone - zoned to highly rated schools and have transportations services to zoned public schools. 3. Staffs - Sam Overton has been very supportive from the day one. He patiently listened to all my complaints and made genuine efforts to resolve them. Maintenance staffs also did a good job. Requests used to take long to be addressed in early days but things improve a lot after the new team took over. 4. Blocks are spaced very well and so the units have good ventilations. 5. The community is reasonably big enough for a quick evening stroll and have other amenities like Pool, billiards, gym, business center, dog park etc. 6. Sufficient number of garages, carports within reasonable rent and free open parkings. 7. No hidden fees and doesn't find ways to charge you unreasonably. Cons: 1. Units are old and shows the age. 2. Insulations are bad and dampness can be felt on the walls and floors even on the second floor unit when the weather is colder outside. 3. AC system is not efficient enough to cool/heat the entire unit. Electricity bills can be more than usual."
"I should've wrote this review when we moved out, but better late than never. New tenants need to know. Inside the 2 bedroom apartment was just average. Nothing great. Everywhere you walk you can smell dog poop so watch where you step. It would've been nice to have a playground for kids instead of just a dog park. When you move out they'll charge as many fees as they can whether it's true or false. We got hit with a $300 carpet cleaning fee. So, we are a very clean family. Not only did we want our deposit back we want also don't wont anyone thinking we're dirty people. We have 2 boys but no pets. We are not juice drinkers so all we did was drink water. My wife has OCD when it comes to cleaning. You should see our house we currently reside in. It looks like a model home 24/7. Also, the little table that our boys sat at had a thick piece of plastic under it. Our Airbnb reviews will back all of this up. We wanted our deposit back so we made sure the place was spotless when we moved out. After moving out, about a month later, we get hit with a $300 carpet cleaning bill. We asked for pictures or proof of the dirty carpets but of course they had none. Very disappointed in management and how they stole money from us. We'll never stay here again or recommend this place to anyone. UPDATE... I contacted them and they did find me as a previous tenant in the system. I guess they built a park for kids now. Just finding this out. I told them they should correct their reply but of course, no response. I was wrong about the cleaning fee also. It was only $21, I asked for a refund and they said no."
"Avoid. Period. I would put zero stars if I could. They had a leak in the unit above and our unit was totally flooded. The emergency crew came in the morning and we were basically forced out of our apartments. They removed carpets and ceilings where it started to fall down, brought dryer appliances and told us we had to fully move our furniture by the next day. I spoke with the management (Amanda) and she assured me they would end our lease earlier and reimburse the electrical bills (these dryers can make up to 100KWt per day). Not only they didn't do what they said but they actually told us we were responsible until the our original lease expired and also took extra from our deposit to cover the last water bill while they were doing repairs! Shame on you, Weinstein Properties, for such a petty and barbarous behavior!"
