"Nurses are always nice. Dr. Fershtman is great. Heather is NOT a doctor, she’s a PA ( physicians assistant) I wish they stop calling her a Dr. Heather because it’s informally incorrect. Front desk girls are great except the front desk reception Cynthia that always puts me in a bad mood. I had called one morning needing my kiddos well check ups scheduled. While talking to Cynthia, I informed her that my kiddos insurance was switching from Medicaid to BCBS… she replied, “ So the kids are switching from Medicaid to a real insurance?”. Confused on her response I informed her that Medicaid is a medical insurance. She laughed and replied “ NO! Medicaid is a charity not an insurance.” That was the last straw. My husband heard everything on speaker, he did speak to the office manager regarding Cynthia. Looking at past reviews it seems like there’s been a lot of complaints over Cynthia.. and according to the office manager it’s the up to the doctors to pursue further actions. They seem to not care about their patients.. because she’s still there."

"Dr. Heather is the absolute best, and so is everyone at Lake Area. We have not had one bad experience and we have been in almost monthly with some sickness since my 10 month old started daycare. We were going to another doctor in the Woodlands that was highly recommended and felt like just another patient - received the complete opposite experience at Lake Area. They truly care about your children and give them the time and attention they need!"

My kids are always catching something and Dr. Heather is the best, she is always in a good mood and manages to bring a sense of calmness to tough situations. The staff up front are the sweetest, too! I can't tell you how many times I have called in a panic needing a same day appointment and they always fit me in. Everyone cares so much, you can't help but feel like family :)"

"My son has been a patient of this office for over 3 years. They are extremely kind and communicate punctually every need I have ever requested of the office staff over the years. The nurses are always kind, gentle, and attentive to my son's needs and my questions/concerns as a parent. The Doctors themselves are thorough, attentive, gentle, and kind. I never have a doubt that my son is receiving great care here."
