"My mother has lived here since 2021. The first year was fine. But afterwards it has been downhill. The manager Latoya Sanders is a wolf in sheep's clothing. She pretends to be all nice and caring upfront but she is unprofessional and will talk behind your back when she thinks no one is listening. Let me give a little back story. My mother who is the tenant suffers with health problems. So as her daughter I have to help her with certain things. I'm sure anyone would want help their mother. My mother told me last year Latoya Sanders was rude to her and I did try to make a complaint but nothing was done and I received a call with a explanation and I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Fast forward to yesterday September 26th 2023. My mother has been living in an apartment that is unfit to live in. ( Please see pictures attached) It all started at the end of July 2023. Her closet started to flood with water from an unknown source. She has repeatedly reported the issue to the office and the maintenance would just take the carpet out and run up her light bill with the drying fans and then replace the carpet only to have the issue to return over and over again. Yesterday I went to the apartment office with my mother to speak to some one about the issue because now her air conditioning wasn't working and the smell of mold was so strong and with the air conditioning not working that's considered an emergency in Texas. In the office I let my mother do all the talking and then I asked about the mold and her light bill being high due to the use of the drying fans and cooling fan. Latoya doesn't think that the fans would raise her bill but how does she know? My mothers is at work most of the time and she barely runs her a/c. I was not rude to her at all. I then had to leave because my ride was here. Shortly after I left my mom calls and says she overheard Latoya Sanders saying "Ain't nobody scared of her daughter! She ain't the only one with problems!" This just proves to me that Latoya Sanders is unprofessional and should not be in her line of work. Her comment was uncalled for and unnecessary. Something needs to be done about her lack luster attitude and the incompetent maintenance team."
