Hampton Inn Houston-Stafford

"Average hotel.. shows wear but it was just fine. Nothing special. Service at the front desk was hard to get the attention of at times. Breakfast was nice and it's nice to have that offered. We swam in the indoor pool but the chemicals hurt my kids eyes so bad we got out pretty quickly.. seems like there was a lot of chemicals in there honestly but I don't know much about pools. My man said it hurt his eyes too and got out because of it also. I didn't get in because the water was kinda gross and green looking in spots on the bottom. The spa was of course closed and water was disgusting. I really dislike hotels that list these things as amenities and when u get there it looks like this. The price we paid was not worth the room in my opinion but also.. its a hotel and is better than the street so take my review for what it's worth. Don't book this one solely on hopes it has a nice usable indoor pool. My bathtub in my room had some red orange weird spots in it and looked dirty. We just stayed one night so didn't use. The IHOP next door was nice for dinner though! Go there for sure."

"I loved the stay and I just wanted to exaggerate on how clean our room was… the housekeeper was nothing short of amazing. Her name was Cece I believe. The way my room looked and smelled, it made me feel like I was at home. When I come back you all make sure she is over my room. I want her to be recognized for her hard work and to let you all know that she is great and I wanted to thank Cece for her great work."

"Cleanliness issues. Reserved a room for 3 nights 10/19/23 to check out 10/22/23. Checked in online, picked Room 214, arrived front desk about 1am on 10/20, was assigned Room 218 instead with no explanation. On getting to Room 218, it was obvious the Room was not cleaned, smelt horribly, got to the bathroom but could not shower cos the bathtub was dirty. Called front desk, was told hotel is fully booked, they've taken note and it will be cleaned when housekeeper arrive. Room and bathroom were later cleaned about 2:00pm, still couldn't shower cos there are still dirt stains in the bathtub. When I pointed it out to the housekeeper, she told me that those dirty stains are rust and paint peels and that most bathtubs in the hotel look that way....unbelievable! Still here, not taken a shower yet cos the bathtub looks disgusting and irritating. Might need to check out tomorrow. Can't go on without taking a bath."

"The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. The location is close to the freeway. The complimentary breakfast was very good but they're right next door to IHOP if you're not satisfied or you sleep in and miss breakfast."

"One of the best nights sleep in a hotel ever. The linens were crisp and soft. The mattress was so comfortable and the access to the southwest freeway could not have been better. Next door to two great restaurants. I was so pleased!"
