"My daughter and I have been looking for a place near the airport and we found this great property. At first glance it was well kept and it looked inviting. A young lady by the name of Nikki was very helpful and was going above and beyond to make sure we didn't miss a thing. Definitely at the top of our list so far."
"This apartment complex is so poorly ran… I almost have no words. We moved in and the hot water wasn’t working, the bathroom sink was moldy, the kitchen sink was leaking, the apartment was filthy, and the heat wasn’t working. Our apartment flooded during the first big rain while we were there. Standing water everywhere except our bedroom. Had to wait 2 hours before someone came to help. Any maintenance request we put in was ignored for months. No one took us or the complaints we had seriously. The office admins would lie about us not telling them things when we had email proof of said conversation that we “never had.” The ONLY consistent person was a wonderful woman named Laura. She was more on top of all the requests we had than any manager we spoke to. She personally helped us more times than we can count. If you are unfortunate enough to live here and need anything, speak to Laura. She is more qualified to run that office than any piece of scum I’ve seen come through there. She needs a raise and a promotion."
"Frustrating Living Experience. I regret to say that my experience at this apartment complex has been disappointing since day one. Initially, it took a month for maintenance to address issues reported during move-in, reflecting a lack of urgency. I have been dealing with a recurring window water leak in my apartment every time it rains for the past three months, and unfortunately, the situation remains unresolved. Despite assurances from the management that the window water leak issue would be fixed or the window replaced, no action has been taken to address this concern up to this point. I could spend the entire day writing about this worst management and it still wouldn't sufficiently convey the extent of the headache I am facing. Suggestions. Don’t lease here"
"I have the worst experience dealing with the overlook at bear creek. From the day I moved in. I’ve had nothing but problems, in which the leasing agents promise to fix but nothing ever gets done. the floors are literally caving in. The toilets don’t flush, there’s missing screws and nobs everywhere. they did not clean the apartment prior to me moving in… there’s electrical issues certain lights don’t work as well as outlets. The a/c and heating system doesn’t work , it’s been a month since I’ve moved in. Had to go buy heaters from Walmart..Still no update. They also changed my locks without informing me. In which I was completely locked out of my apartment. Maintenance forgot to leave a key. Had to sleep in my car that night which they showed no sympathy for. I’m pretty sure if I was to call an inspector this apartment will most definitely be deemed non habitable…not to mention there’s nails sticking up from the carpet at literally every corner. which I had to myself go through with a hammer and level. No one should ever have to go through something like this exspecially for place your suppose to call home. It’s sad how customer service and genuine hospitality have gone out the window…."
"My stay here keeps deteriorating. I have a couple of damaged stuff in my apartment that are not fixed and they keep closing my repair request tickets, marking them as completed. For instance, my closet rod is broken and part of my clothes have been on the floor since April 2023. I just made a 3rd request for the same issue because the 2 other tickets were closed without anybody coming to repair the broken rod. A first repair was done but the rods collapsed as soon as they left my apartment. I didn't even get a chance to re-arrange my stuff in the closet even for a few days. I asked the technicians why they closed my ticket and they pointed at the office staff and when I questioned the office staff, they pointed back at the technicians. These people are incapable of buying good hooks to fix the rods firmly into the wall. We moved in and discovered that the chimney is broken. This is going to be our 2nd winter here and it is not yet repaired. I'm tired of following up for the repairs of the broken things in this apartment. I'm so unhappy with all of this. Addition after getting a response from Overlook at Bear Creek (Owner): I already have 2 open service requests. I just need my repairs to be done. I don't want to keep going back and forth with the apartment and their staff nor send an email to anyone. In the course of all this frustrating situation, I went to the office some time ago and asked for the contact of a manager because I wanted to talk to the manager directly since no one was handling my situation and they presented a man to me saying he is the manager. I had a word with him, brought him to my apartment and he promised to get the things fixed and here we are today, months later with the same issues. Please just do the repairs that I need and not send me an email address for more dragging."
